Hey everyone,

Please visit the new thread started by a familiar WS member, Mike Marty (mmarty). Mike has an extensive and impressive background in law enforcement, and is the founder of an exciting new organization named The Retired Investigators Guild known as The RIG.

Please visit the above Websleuths thread to learn more, and also visit The RIG website for their podcasts, and where there's lots to learn about who they are and their very worthy cause.

Some snippets from The RIG to give you an idea of what they will be doing:

Collectively, through active case support, cold case support, and specialized training, the RIG will help rebuild our nation's ability to ensure the safety and security of all our communities. And, as a registered nonprofit organization, we'll do it at no cost to the law enforcement agencies we are helping.

Please help us to help those who have sworn to protect and serve by donating to the RIG today.

The RIG is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation comprised of former and retired criminal investigators from local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.

“The Retired Investigators Guild (RIG) is a nonprofit created by Marty which consists of a team of former major case investigators who donate their time to law enforcement agencies. Marty says that their mission is to restore America’s faith in law enforcement and provide tireless efforts of going for criminals in pursuit of justice for violent crimes.

“Our organization is comprised of the very best of the best retired and former homicide, cold case, and major crimes investigators from throughout the United States and Canada. We volunteer our time and specialized skills to help law enforcement agencies whose investigative resources have been hollowed out by the movement,” Marty said.

Marty adds that his nonprofit offers hope and in this case the job wasn’t done after the case was solved. The Retired Investigators Guild and the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), jointly announced the creation of a perpetual scholarship, in Markisha Hibbler’s name…”
