Well, I mean, they were working with a high profile inmate - if they wanted to avoid this, they could have removed the insignia on their own. That probably would have helped them a bit here. Bottom line? They shouldn’t have been wearing them in the first place.
How would he play a video for her of Ms getting ready for school from his archive without Js knowing it wasn’t a live view?? Any video call platform I’ve used requires me to perform functions to stream my screen / share a video or even a photo. It’s not easy to fake imo, is it?
I’m sure they get called all sorts of things by the prisoners and visitors of prisoners all the time in real life and online. Probably regardless of their attire but possibly not helped by it at times as well. MOO. People who want to be well loved by society may not find this line of work...
Probably not. I recall an F1 driver in hot water for refusing to remove his earring - (Lewis Hamilton for anyone wondering, and I can’t recall if he kept it or not in the end). It’s a safety issue even for kids sports often so I imagine such jewelry may post a safety concern as well in a prison...
There have been some articles and even a podcast that discuss what solitary confinement is like - as told by those who have endured it for various reasons. One needs only to google to find them. I’m not sure I believe that isolation might lead to eating one’s own fecal matter? Unless it’s to...
Would be interesting to know what the policy was regarding personal appearance (eg: facial hair) and regarding uniform adherence (if any) from before RA arrived there.
Maybe it would also be prudent to know what if anything the guards knew about the case and the evidence? When did they add the patches to their attire?
Their job is not to care about the guards. Their client is only RA. I haven’t seen anything yet to suggest the guards lives were ruined by having been called out for having added their patches to their uniforms, perhaps I have missed it during my absence?
Clearly the management took note of the...
I’m saying only this: a uniform is meant to ensure well, uniformity. If they didn’t want staff to look the same as one another, they wouldn’t have a uniform policy at all, would they? Simply put, I don’t believe a work uniform serves its purpose if people add to or remove from it at will. It...
Interesting observations from the new doc:
There is no mention of:
- ss mother. Was she interviewed or not? If not, why not?
- no mention of the McD SS spoke about (no video from, no witness listed from there that we know of).
- No mention of JS father. Only her mother and “aunt” (assume is...
I wonder if it had to be included based on being part of the investigation of him / maddie as a missing child and victim of SS while in the care of JS?
l
I wonder why they interviewed CS (the father of SS) and how many times they did so? He was listed a few times in the document and I was unsure - is that one interview broken into segments or more than one interview? Is it possible his father may have had a hotel nearby? Maybe to bring his son...
Could it be JS workplace? Maybe they were trying to verify she was there / her car was there? Or if his car(s?) were there at all? The other hotel in a prior document was named as Holiday Inn Club Vacations (I think). I don’t have it handy so MoO for now
The way to avoid the slippery slope in my view is to not allow staff to add /remove things to / from the standard issue uniform. That’s all I’m saying.
Yes. I would. They should wear standard issue (neutral) uniforms. If the entire staff wear uniforms with rubber ducks on them, or butterflies. So long as they all wear the same thing. If Indiana wants their staff to wear Odin Patches that’s fine so long as they ALL wear the same thing.
It’s not a daycare. It’s a corrections facility. Staff should be neutral in their attire lest someone feel threatened or intimidated by the staff’s affiliations. It’s just not a good look for the facility imo - it allows the lawyers for the accused to waste time complaining about the attire of...
