Thursday, Nov. 19 - No Smoking

Dear Diary,
6 a.m. It's National Smoke Out Day. The day all smokers give it up for a 24-hour span. Of course I will participate again. But this year it will be different. I've got a sponsor. Someone to support my effort to quit for today.
Thelma will be here any minute to help. She claims she's the perfect candidate to back a quitter.
"I've had a lot of experience getting behind a quitter. Just look at my last three husbands," Thelma says.

Here is a good article written by the ADA. The timeline is a bit off, and so is the claim about the DWI. It was actually driving without license, here nor there, it doesn't really matter...
