I know Lynn Connes has been suggested as a possible Naso victim. I agree.

I would like people to consider Paula Pope, who disappeared from Fresh Pond. And Julie Soracco, who disappeared from nearby Placerville a few years later. Both believed to have been hitchhiking/hitchikers. Their threads do not have a lot of activity here, and seem rather cold.

Paula, for the double initials, and Julie for geography, just a hunch.

I think they remain unanswered for most of us. I've only submitted a few, but have never received a reply. From the time I've spent here, it seems typical not to receive a response, or to hear back after quite some time has passed.

The murdersquad guys seem a good idea. I just learned of them yesterday.
 
Hi all-

I have taken a SERIOUS deep dive into Naso, particularly surrounding his whereabouts throughout the years. I have numerous addresses and general time frames but am trying hard to narrow down more precise timelines, AND to see if I can figure out which odd jobs he held while doing "photography".

This is vague but I will share what I know for sure:

1934- Born in Rochester, NY
1949- Still in Rochester, a student at Brooklyn Prep
1950- Sophomore at Fairport High School
1953- 205 Tillou Rd Fairport, NY
By July 1953- around 1960- 223 W Spruce St Fairport, NY
July 28 1953-1957- served in the USAF (6 months of these 4 years were spent overseas- definitely London, possible more places)
1959- Listed in Rochester phone directory
1960- Listed in paper as being out of Brooklyn, NY
June 1961- 593 Park Ave Rochester, NY
1961- (raped student from UC Berkeley)
September 1962- 737 East Ave Rochester, NY
1958-1982- ?? Listed in directory at address on N Santa Fe Ave in LA County, California
1965- Moves to house on Oakland Ave in PIEDMONT, CA w/ Judy and first son
1970's- Taking college courses in Oakland, CA
1973- Listed in paper as living in Simi Valley, CA
January 1980- Moves to apt in Mission District in SF on 3600 block of 18th St & Oakwood after divorce
January 1981- 839 Leavensworth, becomes property manager
1983-1986- Listed in general "Piedmont, CA" area
1994- Yuba City, CA on Cooper Ave w/ son
1995- Attempts to steal lingerie from Oakland, CA dept store
03/19/2004- Moves to Washoe County, NV outside of Reno



I would LOVE to find more exact dates of move in and move out, as well as to nail down what "odd jobs" he had and when.

oh my. he probably also has some victims between east and west coast. i doubt he had the money for a plane ticket.
 
I'm going to dive in Naso again. The pic of the woman in the red/pink dress is imo late fifties.
 
Joseph Naso is currently on Death Row in San Quentin, California. He is 88 years old. He was convicted of four murders and sentenced to death in 2013.

He will almost certainly die of old age in prison.
