I know what you mean about "can't get these poor kids outta my head." I sat at my computer all day yesterday crying. My 2 granddaughters age 12 were here. They were about to have me committed! We finally went to the book store to get away from this, and I left them in the teens section and went to a table to read. Went back to look for them and I had everyone in the store trying to find them for about 20 min. They were in the Starbucks, inside the bookstore, pretending they were grown up drinking coffee. Scared me to death! Nex time I am going to get one of those leashes and attach:crazy::D them to me! They probably won't come back anymore!

I know what you mean. I am about willing to microchip my kids with GPS tracking devices! LOL.

It is so hard to follow this very long thread. Can someone give a recap of the case? Was the cause of death released? I missed the presser yesterday.

Thank you so much.
19 pages long?! LOL To me, this is a short thread.

They are not going to release the COD, MOD, or other information yet. Tox screens will take 4-8 weeks. (I think we will learn of the COD long before tho.)

* No autopsy results for either 4-6, or 6-8, weeks
* Sandra's family either were, or weren't, members of Clover Road Baptist
Church, where search warrants were executed on, possibly, a shed or
pump house, a crawlspace, and the sancturary and the grounds.
* Pastor at church evidently has several aliases.
* Luggage in which she was found apparently donated by church
member for a rummage sale.
* Sgt. Tony Sheneman tight-lipped, terse at yesterday's presser, refusing
to rule out anyone as a suspect.
* Sandra found in clothes she was wearing when she left home.
* Kissing Guy's hacienda re-searched.

et much al.

TRACY, Calif. --Hours after FBI crime scene investigators entered Clover Road Baptist Church, they left the building Tuesday evening with more than half a dozen bags of evidence in connection to Sandra Cantu's death. Authorities also searched underneath the church looking for clues that will lead to Cantu's killer.

http://www.kcra.com/news/19121818/detail.html (Bolded by me) I would like to know how they did this as the building appears to have a concrete foundation and appears to be built of cinderblock. WTH?

Last night on the 9pm KRON report here in California, the were filming a FBI tech at the back of the church looking underneath (like the foundation was off back there, an opened space) and my first thought was, you could hide a child's body in there.

How convenient that the most damning piece of evidence in a murder investigation was "stolen" from the back of your car...

I wonder what time the suitcase was reported stolen. I've always thought the suitcase tied back to the church - but my theory was that it had already been donated. Which would explain why LE rushed over there to search the church and shed.

This scenario only allows for an "intended" connection to the church - with no direct tie whatsoever. Unless it was stolen in the church parking lot, it doesn't really create the urgency to search that we saw.

This whole story is WAAAY too coincidental.

Yeah, I'm thinking the suitcase being stolen is being thrown out by that person to distance themselves from the crime. Kinda like "I couldn't have robbed that store, because my car was stolen an hour earlier". Or I couldn't have shot that person, because my gun was stolen last week"

Too convenient.

Good morning! One article mentioned that a pair of work gloves were found under the shed? Don't know if it could be related to the case or maintenance?

seeing all the new posts..... I am thinking this ALL points towards the Tracy 60..... maybe LE is just trying to get all their ducks in a row because they are planning on doing a HUGE arrest.... who's to say Wohler, Lawless AND Sinclair are not ALL involved?

Just MY opinion and MY mind going WAY too fast thinking about all this.... ;)

While I wish that were the case, it's not. The majority of those 60 if not all of those 60 will not be fully investigated. Tracy police have the opportunity to set an incredible example and make a huge stand against child pornographers by doing exactly that, but it does not appear that will happen.

ah thank you so very much

if you go back and watch the presser when they released the video, LE says the reason for the delay in getting the video out to the public was because fbi analysts were trying to determine if it was purse or backpack vs a shadow. They released the video to show what Sandra looked like on that day and wanted to be "right" about what she was last seen with/how she looked.

LE then said after pouring over hundreds of hours of video tape they had determined it was a shadow. Hope that helps.

Thanks for this post Nurse. I knew I had seen this somewhere! I spent 3 hours LATE last night trying to find it. See, I'm not crazy!?:blowkiss:

sorry for bumping my own post:)
I have seen it, but it was on the last thread or the one before. I wouldn't know where to go look, but it would be the day she was found, I'm thinking around the time of the presser at 8:40 pm Pacific time.
It is a straight 2 mile drive from the entrance of the MHP, turning left out of the park, to a right turn onto the area where the irrigation ponds are.

So who is "She" that was donating the luggage? My money is on the Pastor's wife. They didn't have many members, so the list of "She's" would be short. And was a rummage sale really on the church schedule, or did that suddenly pop up?

Speculating, part of the pedo ring?

It is interesting to me how a pastor can be at one church for 20 years and seemingly not have a congregation large enough to sustain him or the church itself. This is suspect in my mind. I would like to see a listing of how many actual members attended this church.

Excellent questions.

There is no "ring." There are 60 individually identified computers within Tracy that have been identified as trading child *advertiser censored*. This does not necessarily mean they were trading them with each other, but using file sharing technology that allowed them to be traded with anyone in the world requesting them.

And he made a point of not associating or networking with other Pastors in the area.

It would be a really dumb mistake to make....but those suitcases have so many little pockets and stuff, I wonder if a business card or something was found?

Me too. Does anyone know what happened to the 2 Lanes Hispanic roomate? Was he questioned, and did he work in the area of the ponds? Did he have keyes to the church or shed? and he would defintely have access to the suitcase and its contents removal.
