Sorry Rant ! Why in the h e double hockey sticks is Snodgrass still out ? Why does his court keep getting put on a back burner ?! The guy is a sleazebucket IMO ...what is going on in Putnam County ...Lock him up already !

editorial note - I take strong offense re: Mr. St claiming PTSD from this case. It's an insult to combat veterans, the families of Haleigh, and legit LE everywhere.

No, I have never seen an incident report on the takedown of D. Snodgrass-I can't remember if he went to LE right away to get the charges filed against Cobra or waited.

I agree-it is total bs. The guy has a CAPITAL OFFENSE against him which should be a no bond hold. I noticed in his court docket he is playing the system, requesting a new public defender, dragging it out even longer. If he was sitting in jail I'm sure he wouldn't want the courts to be dragging. The judge should say ENOUGH of the bs and get on with it! It's been over 2 yrs. since his arrest. He must be broke-I thought at one time he had a private lawyer. I wonder what the collateral is on his bond since it was reported his gf and her daughter took their names and collateral off his bond and his house was just foreclosed on, he sold his boat and limo, what does he have left for collateral?

Florida needs to get on the ball... Snodgrass should have already gone to trial. I agree... he is a sleazebucket!
 
Supposedly, Snodgrass owned and operated an escort service. Misty was a friend of his and there are hundreds of *advertiser censored* pics of her taken by him. I wonder if she, and any other players in this case, were ever employed by him? (even some OLDER players) Perhaps, at some point, Misty had Snodgrass babysit for her while Ron was at werk.

Let's see:

He inserted himself in Haleighbug vigil, and got into trouble
He burned all his sheds, where he is said to have taken young girls for...
There was blood on the walls of those sheds (yes, it could have been animal}
His house was forclosed on
He sold his boat
He sold his limo
His ankle bracelet didn't work properly

I don't know what part, if any, he played in this horrible case. But he sure looks like he should be questioned much, much more.

And why has it taken so long to get him to trial?

Preface: Please do not think I'm an apologist for child molesters because I'm far [very far] from being that. I think they ought to be locked up and never let back out since there doesn't seem to be any known "cure" for this criminal/evil compulsion.


I'm not sure any of the allegations are true, from the rape of the children on up through the visit to HBC, and perhaps more importantly with regard to the Haleigh case, the escort service, the ankle bracelet malfunction, the purported photos of Misty, the blood in the sheds, the burning of the sheds, the fire on the deck of Mr. Snodgrass' boat.

I think that the charge and the trial remain pending just in case there is something to them, or additional victims come forward.

JMO & without reviewing the court dockets -

There appear to be serious problems with the recollections provided by the indirect witnesses to the aforementioned incidents and information.

My primary hesitation regarding the witnesses is the credibility of those witnesses. I will be perfectly honest; I have never spoken with any of those involved re: Snodgrass, except for Mr. Staubs.

My opinion of the pet store owner is based on conversations recounted by other W/S members who have met her [or at least claim to have met her. IDK - I was not present for the conversations.] Were I to sit on a jury, I would not convict based on the rambling, nonsensical statements of the former wife/pet store owner.

My opinion about the M.S. woman's statements is based solely on the interview recorded by Mr. Staubs and broadcast on Mr. Barrett's show. M.S. is, for the most part, relaying statements she heard from her mother whom she admits during the interview was delusional on the day Haleigh was reported missing. I do not recall if M.S. stated that she herself had viewed the photographs of Misty. I do question her motivations for the answers she gave during the interview with Mr. Staubs. For that matter, I question her motivations for agreeing to speak with Mr. Staubs, period.

The interviews with the victim(s) are not public record, and I would be reluctant to "bash" a victim in any case, especially a minor. As such, we are left with the pet store owner, M.S., and Cobra. JMO none of the three are credible.

LFlordia, just to put things in balance, each item I mentioned in my post have been discussed here on WS many, many times. I suppose we won't know or understand the complete truth until his trial (whatever THAT happens.)

However, I hope he is investigated thoroughly, and not just for the Haleigh case.
 
Well if there are pictures of Misty C, then LE would have them, No? That would at least confirm whether or not DS knew her and had contact with her. I didn't hear everything on the tape, (couldn't make out) but I do remember her saying (Misty S) that there were hundreds of photos, and I think I remember her saying LE had them.
 
Well, if you aren't dizzy, maybe this can get you going, Elle. Here's a piece of bad reporting, one that muddies the Snodgrass waters without resolving anything:

Captain Dick Schauland with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said investigators have checked into Snodgrass' location the night Haleigh Cummings disappeared. Schauland said the company which monitors Snodgrass' movements via GPS indicates he was not near Haleigh on February 9th.

The "GPS indicates he was not near Haleigh on February 9th." Now what in Sam Hill does that tell us, since Haleigh is, uh, missing. And we don't have a reliable timeline of Haleigh's whereabout from the time she left school until the call to 911. All the GPS could tell us is that DS was not near Haleigh's home. But that is not what the report says. There's no direct quotation, and so the impression is that DS has been "cleared" because of the GPS. I'm still looking for some other news link about the GPS in regard to malfunctioning. But really, all anyone would have to do is take Haleigh to DS's house or a shed or some neutral site.

I assume that is a report from the early days of the investigation, right? What it means is, at the time of this report, LE believed Haleigh disappeared from her home, and Snodgrass was nowhere near that home.
Possibly since that time, they have had new information come to light, but they had to start from there because that's where it was reported that she was last seen.
 
If it is true that he had a "escort/dating service"; I would be more curious to learn who the clients were/are. This is a small town/area, doesn't seem like it would be a lucrative business. In fact, none of his business ventures would financially support him, JMO. What else is he into?
If LE has tons of photos, I would assume they also have his computer and are monitoring his phone records/activities - wouldn't you think? So why didn't they know he was @ the HaLeighBug center - hmmmm.
Another thing I remember seeing on the released video, when the PI went to DS's to arrest him for the bond, LE was there, the PI was convicted of wrong doing during that altercation - why did LE permit it to happen in the first place?
Does DS have something over LE? Is that why he has not been thoroughly investigated in the disappearance of HaLeigh?
I know little about DS and maybe he is totally innocent regarding HaLeigh, but he sure does raise "my" suspicions.

Hold on now! I haven't looked on this thread for awhile and there are a lot of things going on that need some 'spainin' !!!

First of all, where did the escort service and Misty's pics come from? Need a link or reliable source or the posts are going to be removed.
