Important to remember that LE are not obligated to tell we, the people the truth. LE can say anything they want to enhance their investigation, their one and only goal is to bring Kyron home, not to please us or the media. Seems for right now, they don't need the media or us. So instead of saying 'can't comment', he could have just told us a bunch of BS and we really don't know that he didn't.

Maybe their goal is confuse the perp - it sure is working on all of us. moo

At this point, I almost just wish they could throw out some false tips just so we can have something to do but complain about them...they can always tell us later it was fake..:banghead:

I was just looking at Kyrons art work that was released. I find it odd that they released a drawing of a squirrel he did. That is the SM, nickname, as per FB, prior to being closed to public.

I wonder if that was strategically planned or just another odd coincident...

I think our searches are tagged, for examople some did searches on frogs to post for Kyron, I did a search on Water containers, and lo and behold a add for water containers showed up here, and the was another search I did and a add for that Item came up also, weird

Another case I was looking up shipping containers and my daughter was getting married at the same time. Everywhere I went on the internet for weeks I was followed by ads for Containers4U.com and Davids Bridal. :waitasec:

jmo, LE is trying to further limit public info by asking media to consider assigning a 'pool' camera person. Then they could really control info by taking that person to whatever site LE chose and keeping media away from everywhere else. But of course, Capt. Gates at noon said only if the media agrees to that. My understanding was that is why they were asked to stay after the nooner, and be 'off camera' for a discussion about the pool idea. Personally, I hope that media did NOT agree to those terms. No offense to LE, but this investigation is bordering on being totally censored from any info. Now things that were confirmed are 'can't comment on that' and several 'can't comment on that YET'.

Yes, searches are tagged.Often stored too. There are companies who do " data mining " to find out consumer preferences. Data miners sift through a person's searches,and tabulate the results. Which they then sell. The pop up ads are just a variation of this theme.

I want to know because, well, I want to know. But me (or any of us) knowing these details won't help their case. And that's the bottom line. So I'm content to hear him say "no comment" as much as he wants. Frustrating on a personal level for sure, but only because it would satisfy my curiosity. If he can't comment, then obviously these insignificant details are not so insignificant.

O/T My mom, who checks here all the time is going to have a HEART ATTACK! She is DEATHLY afraid of frogs, especially tree frogs. She calls me all the time when she sees one, hysterical. (like i can do anything from 2000 miles away!)

Last night I went on the patio to turn off the pool pump and I seen 4 frogs
I went screaming into the house:crazy: I think they are toads. Hugs to your mom.

the weird thing is we never have to many frogs... one here or there during the summer but not four at one time???

hoping Kyron home soon....the frogs picture are just way to cute. Thanks for smiles during this weird and sad case.

That was SM's nickname from school,her hair,Red squirrel and such.And also there was something about a squirrel in thier yard,maybe he was drawing one he had seen in the yard.

I don't think they are holding press conferences addressed to a suspect at which they will say absolutely nothing. They aren't saying "we're coming after you" or "we are getting closer to the truth", " please let Kyle come home" etc...they are saying...No comment. No point at all in that, if speaking to a suspect, IMO. So I don't know why they are holding these at all and I'll bet they taper off real soon, sadly enough.

Can't help to think that for now, everything is strategically planned by the FBI/CARD behavioral and profile units. Every picture, word, and message seems to me to be a strategy. Just my opinions and thought

I also feel they have a good profile of the perp - maybe they don't know who and where - or maybe everything I think right now is a big wish! lol

It's more a case of what they've NOT said BeanE!

Everytime they're asked if they can confirm Kyron was seen at xyz time they get a 'no comment/I can't confirm that/I absolutely cannot say' from the sherriff... I guess it's putting doubt into peoples minds!

The statement seems odd. Here is my attempt to make something out of nothing and read too much into the words of the family. Is there an attempt to communicate a willingness to pay ransom here?

Kyron’s family would like to thank everyone for their support and interest in finding their son. The outpouring of support and continued effort strengthens their hope.

The word interest seems like an odd choice. Financial reference?

We need for folks to continue to assist us in our goal. Please search your properties, your cars your outbuildings, your sheds. Also check with your neighbors and friends who may be on vacation or may need assistance to search their property.

"Folks" seems strange. Stepmom has a master's degree. Dad is a computer engineer. Using a word like folks is out of place. Are they saying that their parents can help with money? Reference to friends, neighbors, vacation properties they could sell perhaps?

There are a lot of resources out there to help. Please don’t stop.
It is obviously a difficult time and they want to speak to the public so they can hear from Kyron’s family as they come together to share their message. Their objective is to keep the focus on Kyron and not about anything else.

My take on this last paragraph is that is another oddly constructed piece of language. The first two sentences appear to be a plea for more time.

That happens because sites put cookies on your computer. I reject 99% of the cookies but sometimes it makes loading harder - some of them buggers are very persistent.
