If he did, he'd have been caught by now! [emoji6]
Actually I have read on various boards that his DNA has been submitted through CODIS multiple times.
There is something different between leaving your DNA at a crime scene and having that DNA released to a private agency. The families of ONS...
I think the issue lies in this being a private database. Yes, you gave your consent INSIDE the database for others INSIDE the database to be found. However, EAR did not give his consent to be linked through ancestors. When it comes to the police, thats an entirely different matter.
Could they...
ah, I see. I wasnt sure if it was through the police database or through one of the websites. I was thinking of Erica Ruff I think.
Either way, the way their privacy works, I dont think there would ever be a chance to use 23 and me or ancestry for a DNA match.
Sent from my SM-N9208 using...
The databases sometimes do do it, thats how the grim sleeper was caught, I believe. It sets a really bad precident though, which is why the databases dont want to be involved. When people submit their DNA they are guarunteed that their data will be kept confidential.
Another possible option...
Yes, there is an actor that looks like this sketch (I forget his name)
What you have to remember about these sketches is all of them (aside from the one where he is in a full baclava and only his eyes are seen) are of "suspicious people" others saw in the area. None of them are truly reliable...
I really have no idea why so many people hit on this angle, but you also have to remember, that was a different time. There were no computers then, so sketching out an initial map could have been what he was doing.
There is also a lot of speculation that he went to American River College. They...
This is for a few reasons.
The first being the punishment map, which looks like a planning developers map.
The second reason that at that time in California, the cul da sac homes being built were all essentially identical depending on the subdivisions. Many of the homes broken into were from...
About the FBI tipline... theyre getting a lot of tips, they wont be able to respond to you. They'll just take the tip and proceed forward. If you want to be sure (it seems like you were unhappy with how your tip was handled), call the hotline and specifically talk to someone. Some others have...
If you have a truly viable suspect, your best course of action is to contact the FBI tipline. You can either call or write an email.
Please remember that Quester is not LE, he is simply a person who knows a lot about the case (he is also very committed to his POI).
If you are presenting...
He and his wife were not found dead. This was at the time when he was only the East Area Rapist, not yet the Original Night Stalker. If I remember correctly, this was in Walnut Creek which is quite close to Rancho Cordova.
There are photos of the meeying. Many persons from the meeting have...
There is actually one teacher, I forget his name, that many believe was connected to the "Mad is the word" note, but I think he died? His wife did speak to someone, I dont remember much. This is all coming from what I read on the proboards.
The people who are very involved in this case on the...
I understand that most people think VR and EAR are the same. However, I dont feel as if that should be presented as fact if it hasnt been proven by DNA.
I also believe that EAR and VR are the same person. However there is a possibility they arent (even though there is a lot of evidence pointing...
I would be careful with using the composites in this case. In almost every EAR attack he was wearing a mask that concealed his face. There was only one case where he wore a mask that showed his face.
The composite above, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) is from the Maggorie murders. Some...
