There is a 10 part, free podcast on audible, called Body of Proof, discussing whether Gilroy's conviction is unsafe.
I think it's biased and misses out or glosses over some compelling evidence, but it's worth a listen.
I've been following but not commented until now.
I find the circumstances all rather suspicious.
Up until now, they have been searching a 4km square area aorund the resort. This would have at least reached the edge of the waterfall area, if not included it.
A reward is released AND one of the...
I'm delighted to say, Ben has been found safe and is back with his family.
They had a reported sighting in a specific area (woodland at the far edges of the village). Going against police advice, just before dusk last night, his dad posted a call for help searching on social media.
People...
Search team's advice in hunt for missing Ben Veitch
Hundreds of people offer to help desperate dad search for missing son Ben Veitch
Ben disappeared from the next village to us, and his car was found opposite my house.
Police have been round to check my CCTV, but it is not working (it is...
The driving friend seems to have come up with at least 3 different stories:
1. He went to the bathroom then when he returned, Blaze was gone
2. He took Blaze to meet a third party
3. Blaze ran away from him
4. The friend just sat in the car while Blaze walked into the park (taken from...
Apologies if this has been posted already, but it seems to put a different slant on things. Did he actually run away? And if he did, the 'friend' didn't wait for very long for him!
"The teen's parents, speaking from their Lake Forest California home, said he was last seen with a friend at a...
I typed this out this morning, but dashed off before posting. Just some musings.....
The stories about this case are all over the place. This one from Forward is super simplified and could read "Boy goes missing when friend nips to the loo". No mention of a third party...

Marie Scott left home in the middle of the day, caught a train to the city centre and disappeared. She was captured on CCTV in a number of places which confirmed her route.
She had been suffering from depression since the death of her mother and had made a few suicide attempts. It was her...
The vest top and shorts was confirmed by her sister. They caught her on cctv walking toward the sea wearing a black vest top and light coloured shorts.
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this will have a happy ending

Good question!
Only thing I could think of is that he is nondescript in his appearance, whereas a car is more easily identified by make, model, licence plate etc. But why not drive to a secluded location and dispose of it?
Maybe he was dropped off? Thrown out the car after an argument...
The way I read it is that the person who tipped the contents out had to have realised there were skeletal remains in there, left the remains in the bush and dragged the case to the kerb as a marker so the body could be discovered. From then, a number of people stopped and inspected the case...

There are a couple of things I find a little odd about this.
It is said the alarm was raised by a concerned family member who called the police. If her hubby was at his parents, that is about a 20 minute drive away (New Eltham). I wonder who would contact the police before giving Thomas a...
