I found that Bank Managers testimony to be non-credible. As an ex bank worker, I just found it ridiculous that she would remember even a unique looking customer after all this time, for a regular transaction. I too felt she inserted herself into the story for other reasons. What reasons could...

Weren’t there bush fires close to this area around this time? Is it possible he placed her body in an area later destroyed by bushfire? Or what if he was so off his face on drugs he can’t remember where he put her?

Personally I feel like the NSW Police should have been ready to pounce on RB the day the Coroners finding was handed down, or shortly thereafter. I worry justice will never be served in this case. It was just bungled for way too many years IMO. Besides the NSW Police, where the hell are our...

Are you sure that’s true in all cases? In the Claremont serial killer case in WA the prosecution were able to present propensity evidence, drawing the connection between a couple of prior offences https://www.ruleoflaw.org.au/case-studies/crime/claremont-killings/

I agree both of those are likely, or very likely. I wonder if it’s a friend that has come forward, or even a family member.

I expected by now we would have heard something in the media about whether Sissy Austin recognised the accused as her attacker. But radio silence on that front. Wonder what that means????

Patton specifically answered this in the press conference. He was asked by a reporter “will the police be alleging this is a hit & run” . Patton’s response “no”. Go to the 9:25 mark in the press conference Press conference

Although the police work up until recently has been shoddy. As a nobody observer without any inside connection, I’ve been very impressed by the Coroner and her team. I hope this is the standard from here on out and we see charges against Blum very soon. What a piece of work he is.

Also opens the door for a civil claim against NSW police does it not?

At the very very least as an adult she should have been aware he was using multiple names and as such that could have been for deceptive reasons.

Why do we keep going on about why the money was taken $5000 a day? The CBA witness at the inquest covered this off very clearly IMO. He explained it was in some type of high yield deposit account where you couldn’t just take the total lump some out without penalty, this why it had to be taken in...
