Agreed, @AzPistonsGirl. It certainly is a possibility -- as many of us, IMO, are probably thinking that way.
I hope someone here knows how to get that started...
It's been over a week... Hoping she is safe. Also hoping people who know her might give more info to LE if possible. SMH.
Crime rates in the Lumberton area are somewhat high.
In all. this time, they could be anywhere. I just keep thinking that she might be "groomed" for a bad situation.
Oh, so hoping I am wrong. Prayers for her and for her family who must be frantic.
Godspeed to LE.
Thanks for the info re the overdoses, @KooshBall -- I didn't know that. Maybe grandmother somehow knew what to do. Keeping positive thoughts for the 3-year-old.
Indeed, Ezekiel was a beautiful boy. Why, why, why?
Was he crying, was he hungry, sick, wanting his mom?
That can be tiresome, and sometimes the little one just can't seem to be comforted. If the child is not sick, try to calm him down -- play with him, give him a cookie, read him a story...
Oh, please, no. She is a child. Guessing she sneaked out of the house, and then what? The BOLO says she may be with 21 year old Rafael Garcia. Wondering how it is thought that she is with a specific individual. Does her family know Garcia?
This takes my breath away.
Please let her be safe and...
Not much to say on this -- the attacker is now in custody charged with manslaughter, murder and unlawful possession of a weapon. Big, big charges against the 15 y/o attacker.
Not much solace for those who knew & loved Emery Mizell, but at least the attacker is indeed in custody with no doubts as...
SMH. It never stops. At least the "mother" probably won't be "mothering" for a while. Hoping the dose of meth didn't permanently hurt the little one. Interesting, to say the least, that the grandmother knew to use Narcan to probably save the little one's life.
Just dammit. <sigh>
Hoping you are wrong about the grooming, @ifindedout, but that may indeed be what has happened. <sigh> She is 16 y/o, in a small town -- possibly wanting to spread her wings a little, STS.
She may need her meds, and that is worrisome.
Hoping she is safe and on her way back home.
