Bumping.

Accordng to what I can find, Speck was not in port in Indiana that weekend. He was staying with his sister's family in Chicago and didn't go to board a ship in East Chicago, Indiana until July 12th. He had no transportation and relied on friends, family, and the union to drive him around.

I believe so. I would have to go back and read through all the posts, but I recall something where he surfaced just recently to provide additional information that he "remembered". That fact, in and of itself, makes me suspicious. Why is he so interested after all these years?

Thanks for posting this! It is great to see some movement on this case, finally! Both from LE and the press. Hopefully the renewed attention to the case will keep it in the spotlight. We can only hope that the information they need has not been lost with time...
