I really hope he gets the Death Penalty on this!! What he did to that poor child was horrible!

This case just proves that actions have consequences. It all started, when Mr. Shaver made the horrible decision to point his riffle out his Hotel window.

I don't know why they are waiting so long to sentence that guy? I will be glad when its over. I really wish he would tell where he hid her body. Don't think that will happen though.

Going with "life without parole" would be so much wiser..IMO

I wonder how long it will take to I.D. that body they found?

If the death penalty is repealed...does that mean that they will ask for life without parole? I really wish they were going for that now, instead of the death sentence. I don't think California actually puts people to death, they usually die of natural causes anyway! Her poor family.

Having only the death penalty really concerns me. How many times has there been one or two jurors that said they could vote it, then turn around and not be able to. I would feel more confident with life without parole.

I guess this is one way, to close a case that they are stumped on....I am sorry for the family.
