CCM, or anyone else, Where has Lyle's pic been distributed, and has it been introduced into anywhere new since I did the digital reconstruction? I'm trying to figure out what new avenues would be productive to pursue. Davidmm

I really like the addition of Lyle to MySpace. I was thinking of ways to utilize it. I wonder if we could create a "Who am I?" group, and set up linked profiles for others who need to be identified?

I seriously doubt that Lyle was a terrorist, but not because of a lack of calluses. One doesnt need to be hearty to do evil. I doubt that Osama digs his own latrines. Lyle wasn't reading the Koran, the Gideon's Bible was on his nightstand. He wasn't going out in a suicide bombing, or doing...

Any of those are possible. It's also not-unheard-of to get in family tiffs and not speak for years. He was a grown man, so it's quite feasable that he'd been seperated from family for a while before he killed himself, possibly during his famed weight loss. Then, when someone did eventually try...

Okay, this is probably a real party pooper of a question, but what will we do with info about Lyle's heritage once we establish it? We could figure out that he's 1/3 Hopi Indian, 2/7 Cherokee, 1/8 German, 1/16 Irish, etc, and then what? Obviously, we should get the images and info to the tribe...

I'm sure that site doesnt have a profile for him. It's just a random Egyptian guy. Which, I'm sure, like America, has a ton of outside influences. Still, there seem to be several significant simularities. davidmm

I did the CGI reconstruction and have thought he looked Egyptian (mixed with American Indian) from the start. How did you find that picture? He's got a cleft in his chin. He's got hazel eyes. He's got attached earlobes. He's got full cheeks. He's got dark wavy hair. He's got fair skin. He's...

That's a great lead! I tried to Google "Lootka" and only found software by that name. I did find "Nootka" at http://canadianheritage.org/reproductions/10048.htm However, they seem to have heart-shaped faces with pointed, narrow chins. (At least, in that illustration.)

Thanks for the compliment! I could tackle the profile, if CCM thinks it'll help locate him. I've not seen any full length photos of Lyle. I used the photos that were linked earlier in this thread for all of my work. Having done some makeup effects for films, etc, I'm fairly aware of skin tone...

No need to appologize! No offsense taken! I appreciate input on my work! I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions, like that I'd changed his ears, and explain why I made some asthetic choices, etc. This is a fascinating site. I'll certianly be hanging around! :woohoo: I didnt see this...

I did the digital reconstruction. The post mortem photos were not his "original look and hair" because they'd peeled his scalp forward and opened his skull for the autopsy. You can tell this from the folds that are visable on his forehead. When he was seen alive, Lyle's hair was worn in a...

Hi All, Im new to the group, here. Has anyone actually read "You Must Remember This?" Isn't the suicidal character of Lyle consumed with guilt over an incestuious incident? Could it be that the "Real Lyle" was troubled over the same type situation, or molestation? Obviously, he wasn't...
