"The suspect, from Oldham, was arrested in the early hours of this morning in the Aylesbury area - 180 miles away from Bradford. He is believed to be the father of the child - according to locals - and his Facebook says he is married."
So the speculation that he is the father of the child could...
A very good catch and to expand on your speculation maybe the original assault was to do with him being denied seeing his baby?
My original thoughts were they was both in a secret relationship and things turned sour. I say this as Masum was reported as believed to be married.

This is so infuriating. I take it Masum was bailed with conditions not to contact the victim.
I hope this is not a case of Masum harassing the victim under bail conditions and the police failing to respond correctly.

Yes live reporting is really great and frustrating at the same time.
In my experience there will not be a lot of back and forth but just a little bit.
The prosecution does not really have to pry too deep into CMs mindset to show how absurd some of her actions were. They will sum it up nicely.

As someone who lives in the same area (Bethnal Green) that she lived in before she departed for Syria I will say that I don't want her back here as she is dangerous.
"Intelligence briefings in 2019 suggested Begum had been stitching ISIS terrorists into their suicide vests - ensuring that the...
I think I'm going to only comment, once (hopefully) we get more details on the sequence of the attack.
At the moment it could be that Nex pored a bit of water and then was immediately attacked and excessive force was used. This should result in charges.
Alternatively Nex could have pored water...
I live near Club Row and there is a heavy police presence around the area. On Bethnal Green road I saw police officers questioning people on bikes and I saw a couple of police vans parked near Brick Lane.
Thankfully the police are taking this very seriously.

I know that you believe that nothing justified the attack but the water throwing incident is very important In the known sequence of events.
After the event we now know that the liquid that made contact with the 3 girls was water.
The 3 girls have a strong case to argue that they panicked not...
Of course anybody is entitled to their opinion on guilt at any stage of the reporting. Early signs of guilt are more obvious in certain cases.
In this case inpeticular we are missing a lot of info. The statements from the 3 girls and the independent witnesses and also the full report from LE...
I know the issues around trans people can be emotive but we really need to hear all the facts before we rush to judgement.
I'm in the camp who believe charges could be bought for the physical beating of Nex.
Wanting to hear both sides of the situation is in no way victim blaming. Ultimately...
I wonder if Nex left a note that was eventually found or something else they left on their phone/computer.
Also it could have been noticed that there was empty prescription drugs boxes discarded when they should have been full.

Just thinking about the violence part of the attack I would assume that LE would press for some charges, as 3 girls beating Nex around the head does seem excessive no matter who started it.
I don't believe LE have stated that the attackers are not being charged so maybe that's still to come...
This is the part that frustrates me a bit. LE released the bodycam footage of Nex in part to show transparency around the incident.
The day after Nex passes and the attackers now know what info is out there and have no doubt lawered up.
I remember hearing that there were witnesses in the...
