A very good catch and to expand on your speculation maybe the original assault was to do with him being denied seeing his baby? My original thoughts were they was both in a secret relationship and things turned sour. I say this as Masum was reported as believed to be married. JMO

This is so infuriating. I take it Masum was bailed with conditions not to contact the victim. I hope this is not a case of Masum harassing the victim under bail conditions and the police failing to respond correctly. JMO

I live near Club Row and there is a heavy police presence around the area. On Bethnal Green road I saw police officers questioning people on bikes and I saw a couple of police vans parked near Brick Lane. Thankfully the police are taking this very seriously. JMO

Just thinking about the violence part of the attack I would assume that LE would press for some charges, as 3 girls beating Nex around the head does seem excessive no matter who started it. I don't believe LE have stated that the attackers are not being charged so maybe that's still to come...
