I wonder if she was hitch hiking and got hit by a car, the driver panicked and dumped her body in the woods. Where she was found is between Nashville and Memphis, so if her plane was to Nashville maybe she planned to hitch hike home to Memphis.
RIP Annie.
Othram has done some cases that were more recent, even Does found in 2023. So it's not too early, but I think they'll want to exhaust other avenues first like traditional DNA comparison and public appeal.
Someone breaking into your house does not give you the right to kill them. At least in the UK. As stated above, I don't think there's any point in arguing this case like it's a US case. The UK law is clear that if these burglars were not threatening his life, then this is murder. If they were...

In most cases, no. In the UK, you can't just shoot someone because they're robbing you. You can only use 'reasonable force' to defend yourself, which I think is fair. Your actions have to be proportionate to the threat you're facing.
Unless this man's life was actually in danger, such as...
I love it! So cool to see a visual representation of how many cases have been solved. My only constructive criticism would maybe be that I wish I could zoom out to see them all at the same time rather than moving the screen around :)

More body parts found, two men arrested were known to the victim and lived in the same property but were not related to him. Victim likely died at the property in late March. More remains were found in Blackleach Reservoir and also in...
It says in the video that he woke four kids ages 1 to 18, so I assume the parents were out and the 18-year-old was in charge or was possibly a babysitter.
The age of criminal responsibility in the UK is ten, though, which these two were. This boy was under the age of criminal responsibility when he committed this murder. I think the most they can do for this boy is charge him with what they can (for the threats he's made now that he's at the age...
Right, from the picture she definitely doesn't look like she would be the resulting child of Sindy and a white man. Genetics definitely can be weird so it's possible but I think the point is that this was before DNA tests so it's more about what her husband may have assumed going by the...
I wonder if her husband wasn't the father of her daughter? The Mindy interview with the daughter and picture discuss that she's biracial. Sindy was half hispanic, but pale, and her husbands seems to have been white (obit mentions red hair and blue eyes).
Marriage may have happened because Sindy...
Still unidentified. His DNA has been checked against the UK police database without a match and detectives are now checking more missing person databases.

That's who I found too. You could be right, I've read that they struggle to get DNA from remains that have been embalmed. That could be why they haven't been able to compare the remains to Clayton or test for male/female.
They don't know the sex or the race but they have a possible name? That's odd. Maybe ID found nearby? Partial remains could mean not enough to determine sex by remains alone, but DNA would tell them.
There are a couple of people with that name that I can find but I don't think any can be this...
