This has likely been answered, but Monday was Columbus Day. Banks and (I believe) government day off. Some schools in Cali were closed (my kids' schools remained open, though) Not sure about CO.

for what its worth, in my neck of the woods (in Cali), the small token amount for the bus is $400 per year. Also, buses are not provided for any child who lives within a 1.5 miles of the school. Doesn't matter if they are kindergarten or not. Drives me mad. Often doesn't leave many options...

BBM: According to the blog, there was no residue from the pills found in her stomach contents, correct? So it would have been in liquid form and from what I've read, the meds they did have were not in liquid form. Maybe I missed something?

Gosh, I spent the better part of the last two days reading up on the blog. I've googled, read news reports and I'm baffled. Truly baffled. I do believe this girl was being stalked. I highly doubt that after 19 years of parenting Morgan (and two other kids) the parents suddenly over-reacted...

He almost looks sleep-deprived to me. It could be the angle/lighting,though.

The first shot looks like he's leaning forward a bit but in the second shot it almost looks like either he's holding onto the back of the chair or his arms are possibly bound behind him...or am I looking at this wrong? Whatever is above him looks like molded plastic of some sort...
