GUILTY IL - Sheila von Wiese Mack, 62, in suitcase in Bali, 12 Aug 2014 *fnd guilty in Bali* #6

Whatever we may think about it, this is not how the Law works, in both/either jurisdiction (possibly) relevant to S. JMO, speculation, etc. At the time of her birth, until now, S was under the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts and law because that is where she was habitually resident since...

GUILTY IL - Sheila von Wiese Mack, 62, in suitcase in Bali, 12 Aug 2014 *fnd guilty in Bali* #6

Well, well, well. I haven’t commented here in years but have kept up from time to time. I don’t think I ever really believed that the US authorities would actually arrest HM on her return (although I was always pretty sure she’d get an early release from Indonesia). If it’s true that Oshar...

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #3

Snipped by me: I’m not going to get too hung up on the nitty-gritty of this tidbit, because I think it’s important to remember that Dan, the French and the Spanish authorities were all communicating in two/three different languages and we don’t know the fluency of any of them in each. It *may*...

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #3

RBBM: it’s possible but, JMO, unlikely. If she changed her mind & decided to do that, wouldn’t she have let someone know, at least briefly by text (it appears that there was a lot more communication going on than we previously knew)? And it appears that the phone signal was reasonable on that side.

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #3

Marking my spot with a link to the LBT Global press release and Dan’s complete dossier on Esther’s disappearance. I haven’t read it all yet, but there’s a wealth of detail. https://www.lbt.global/media-releases?fbclid=IwAR2q1EwjjQD9pXPluTrEsGNeO-YUQ2D3R8LZXUGw2lvFyngkWLenB-1gl-s...

Found Deceased Canada - Yvon Lacasse, 71, Lachute, QC, 14 Sept 2017

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/ugo-fredette-sentenced-quebec-1.5866181 “A judge has ordered a Quebec man found guilty of murdering two people in 2017 to serve 25 years in prison before he's eligible for parole. Superior Court Justice Myriam Lachance delivered her ruling Friday in...

UK - Anthony Parsons, 63, charity cyclist, found deceased, Argyll, Scotland, 29 Sept 2017 *Arrests*

Well, that’s a twist I wasn’t expecting after all this time. I hope that there’s more info being shared with Tony’s family that helps them.

Reservations in the unmanned season work via an “honour system” of sorts, in that you reserve and pay online, by email, or by phone using a bank card.

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #2

BBM for focus: The shop CCTV, from the DM, is stated to be on the 19th November (no time referenced). X-referencing with Esther’s own postings on IG she accepted a lift back to her camper in Benasque sometime around 2pm that day, after what appears to be a couple of days hiking (I.e. not in...

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #2

That’s a half-decent article/summary, if one takes the time to read it carefully all the way through (past the regurgitation of speculation). “Another possible explanation for Dingley’s disappearance – that she was the victim of a crime – has no evidence to support it.”

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #2

BBM: no. It was prior to the 19th November. Her “is this a bear print?” query was posted November 17th on IG. Her reference to “bivvying” (again on IG) was November 14th.

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #2

I tend to think that DC, SAR & many posters here are likely correct in the area narrowed down to where Esther disappeared and is likely to be found. In my very limited personal experience of SAR searching on the ground as well as following cases here, the missing person is often - eventually -...

You didn’t. You articulated my thoughts very well. I was formulating a reply, but @Recliner got there first :). Sometimes, when there’s no new news, I switch to reading along rather than commenting just for the sake of it.

Found Deceased Spain - Esther Dingley, from UK, missing in the Pyrenees, November 2020 #2

Marking my spot. One of the things that occurs to me regarding the apparent confusion/ contradiction whether LE (and by extension Esther’s family) think Esther had an accident in the mountains somewhere or isn’t up there, may be because we have 2 entirely different sets of authorities in 2...
