I am in a neighborhood in Kane County (Carpentersville) I don't know anything about a lake house. There are houses behind us that sit on ponds, but not sure I'd call them a "lake house."

I have seen this in several cases. The worst thing they could do is to rush into an area like that and risk compromising any evidence. They must do things very methodically. My guess in this case is awaiting on a warrant, or perhaps specialized equipment.

Nothing new yet

Sorry if the term "junkie" isn't suitable, but I get it. They are human beings too. However, I simply use the term because many of them also use the term. It's an ugly term, but suitable and descriptive. Persons who cannot stop filling their bodies with "junk." I'm a recovering food "junkie" myself.

But everything you posted after saying you weren't defending them, was, simply by virtue of the subject at hand, defending them. I have watched someone I love throw their lives away though because of an addiction to opiates, and was the daughter of a lovely woman, who because of quack doctors...

I respectfully disagree. These people made a choice. As per the lawsuit, she told her kid she would kill herself if he left her (obviously a lie.) She told the cameras all she had were her kids. She knowlingly takes drugs and refuses to offer her children, who she is supposed to love a better...

Don't worry. DCFS certainly dropped the ball on this one already, but I really don't see that boy ever being reunited with either parent.
