I didn't mean to imply that I'm a champion of a particular system of jurisprudence practiced in another country. I meant only to provide Tracey with my view on where truth and justice truly rank versus winning. Though if it were up to me, I would bring a practice or two from other countries...

Justice is not taught in law schools. Trial attornies advocate on behalf of their client. Prosecutors advocate on behalf of the People. Defense attornies advocate on behalf of the defendant or defendants. In the minds of most defense attornies and prosecutors, a trial is not about a search...

Without seeing the pictures, I don't know how Mr. Hornsby could validly assess whether their probative value would likely outweigh their prejudicial effect. (Me too. Don't forget me. ... smile)

Missingmydad, The new task force referred to in the story on link below is a perfect opportunity for you and/or someone in the family to obtain basic case information. Stop in to see the Sherriff and let him know you would like to meet with the task force for 15 minutes or so every two weeks...
