This perpetrator truly makes me shudder. Obsessive, lack of regard for other people… the fact he is not revealing location of the bodies is just so controlling and cruel. It seems the police are scouring waterways in many places. My worry is he is leading them on a goose chase. I shudder to think that he is capable of leaving one person alive and telling police a different story to cause the remaining person more suffering. That is my great fear as I think this perpetrator is a very sick sick person.
It is a scary obsession, because it is not with real humans, but with IG figures. JMO - in Beau’s mind, he is faceless unless he is standing next to a celebrity. “A celebrity blogger” is a half-joking name from SM, but in his mind, it becomes his real persona. Jesse was a celebrity, too. I don’t know how for long their “true relationship” lasted. But seeing Jesse’s IG - lots of people around him, and knowing that he was only 26 and became famous at a very young age - I wonder if it was not too serious for Jesse. The perp, however, must have seen himself climbing up higher in the celebrity world. “A celebrity’s BF”, and maybe later, “a husband”. Breaking up might have felt as if he lost his face. The danger of such a relationship lies in the fact that not only breaking up incites anger; what if Jesse lost his job, or, when aging, stopped being that popular?
(Luke, whom everyone describes as “humble”, comes across as way more mature. His text exchange with the friend on Sunday sounded like the friend thought that Jesse could be a person to keep? Luke and his friend discussed the human JB, not his celebrity status. Which makes me wonder if Luke and Jesse would have made a good steady couple, after all. Too sad).
