According to Colorado Cold Case Files:

"On August 14, 2013, Pamela Bera was getting on a Greyhound bus from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin to Grand Junction, Colorado. Ms. Bera never arrived. Greyhound advised that Ms. Bera may have gotten off the bus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to please contact the Mesa County Sheriff's Office."

So not only might the date (even the year!) be wrong but also the location where she went missing. Her page on the Doe Network also reflects the August 2013 date.

I wonder, however, if the year is simply a typo and they meant "2003." Her birthday is given as June 21, 1955, making her 48 (where both sites have "47") instead of 58.

She's also known as "Pamela Sue Bravo," and oddly there is a "Pamela Sue Bravo Arias" (#46) who is recorded in Lima, Peru as having received a "scholarship for human talent" in a program called "Routes for Learnership in Programs with a Specialty in Innovation and Sustainability" in 2023—just last year!

Could she have planned to take the bus from Fond du Lac to Milwaukee and fly to Peru from there? The added last name suggests that she married. Was she secretly corresponding with a love interest and decided to emigrate to his country?

In 2023, Pamela would be 68. Is that too old to receive this kind of a scholarship? Or did she receive it earlier and it's just that Peru recorded it in 2023 when she was "admitted?" Could this be a case of stolen identity?

To add to the mystery, the Learnership Program, according to this Peruvian site, "are dictated in an online format by the Massachussetts Institute of Technology." So she could've taken this program from anywhere in the world.
