Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - #153 *ARREST - Richard Allen*

Everything but the hoodie and the hat; but same style pants, same style shoes, and the exact same jacket (in my opinion).

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - #153 *ARREST - Richard Allen*

I can't quote the post now since the thread has been moved, but intriguemanor posted this question, which I'm also curious about. Does anyone know where the interaction occurred? Was it after the girls crossed on their own accord, or before at the other (safer) end?

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - #153 *ARREST - Richard Allen*

Same here, but the first sketch kind of makes sense to me. The second is just so off, both in age, appearance, and hair. I always assumed that the bridge guy was not wearing a hat in the video and that was just his hair with thick bangs across his forehead. Not sure if it has ever been...

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - #152 *ARREST - Richard Allen*

Maybe this has already been posted, sorry if so. But after watching this, I feel like the police are confident that RA is their guy. The superintendent's confidence in the video seems to imply not only his certainty but also (perhaps) his ease that the case is essentially closed now. I believe...

Found Deceased IL - Vanessa Ceja Ramirez, 22, murdered, Midlothian, 2 Nov 2020

No problem. I will try to respond if I hear anything. Today, the breaking news in the area was about the Delphi murders and the fact that an arrest was made after 5 years. I mentioned earlier in this thread that this case reminded me of VR's, since it took place in a forest preserve, albeit in...

Found Deceased IL - Vanessa Ceja Ramirez, 22, murdered, Midlothian, 2 Nov 2020

Yes. Nothing unfortunately. Maybe local news will revisit in November, which will be the 2 year anniversary.

Where is the exculpatory evidence we were promised?

^ And to add to this post above, DE's camp already DNA tested multiple items in 2011. They have never released their findings. If they didn't release their findings in the 10 years since the first time around, there is zero guarantee they will do so this time around.

Where is the exculpatory evidence we were promised?

Because it possibly wouldn't serve the interest of their client and they are honestly not bound to do so by anyone (but their client). Obviously. The lab itself is not going to make that information public via press conferences, etc -- that isn't their job. That responsibility would fall on DE's...

Who still thinks it was a murder?

There is absolutely nothing in this case that points to foul play or murder. Literally, nothing, particularly in the forensic report.

New Podcast with ML/New Evidence Log

I hate promoting BR in any way, but he has a new podcast with ML. I haven't listened yet, but I'm hoping it sheds light on the new evidence log that ML acquired through the FOIA recently. There are many things in this evidence log that are intriguing. One thing is that, hairs were indeed...

Where is the exculpatory evidence we were promised?

This is great news, but I feel like DE's camp only wants this evidence because they want to point the finger at TH even more than they already are -- the lawyer all but admits this in the TV interview above, when he mentions the ligatures and the TH hair. This isn't a "fact finding" mission for...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

Just a couple things here, I am very familiar with this area, I've worked in this area for over 10 years and travel via 191st and Harlem for the last 5 years at least, passing this site every day: 1) There is no way he could have parked on the south ramp that leads out to Harlem Avenue. Way too...

Found Deceased IL - Vanessa Ceja Ramirez, 22, murdered, Midlothian, 2 Nov 2020

Doubtful. Midlothian isn't the ideal suburb by any means, but it isn't rife with gang activity either. Anything is possible of course, and I wouldn't be a surprised if someone in a gang lives in Midlothian, but the area itself, including the forest preserve, isn't a known gang area with gang...

Found Deceased IL - Vanessa Ceja Ramirez, 22, murdered, Midlothian, 2 Nov 2020

Absolutely nothing in the local TV news. I do feel like the local stations will pick up the story again when the one year anniversary occurs this November. If the local stations don't pick it up during that time, unfortunately they may never pick it up again.

Agree, and also, who wouldn't like getting their own room anyway? Seems much more preferable than sharing a room with multiple strangers.

Found Deceased IL - Vanessa Ceja Ramirez, 22, murdered, Midlothian, 2 Nov 2020

This was another case that really reminded me of VCR's, it was on the local news a week or so ago. Luckily, they caught the suspect after a few days. It made me wonder if perhaps he has some connection to VCR, but Beach Park is way north compared to Midlothian. Police looking for man after...

New to this case and new to the forum

It certainly wouldn't be uncommon for a person who is accused of a horrific crime to claim to his family he is innocent. This proves nothing.

    100% agree.

I liked this documentary and thought it was well-done. It was refreshing to see the filmmakers stick to the facts and not make it more sensational than it really was, particularly with regards to the conclusion. In all honesty, a lot of us who had studied this case way before this doc came out...

Except that, this doc does the exact opposite. It isn't sensationalizing the case, like so many other "docs" do. It concludes with the least sensational theory of the lot. That makes it more genuine, at least to me.
