If I remember correctly...and since you've read about it pretty extensively, you can fill in my blanks....but didn't Jones insist on feeding the babies and children the poison first, to help insure (ensure?) that the parents would go along with it, knowing their children's deaths would end...

It absolutely horrifies me that so many of the victims of that mass murder (because it can't really be called mass suicide) are still unidentified....and most of those are children :(

Interesting....is anyone here in touch with whomever (either an individual investigator or a LE agency) is handling Sharon's case? It seems like given Dial's comments about Sharon and her resemblance to him, it would be worth looking at.

I think the pics of Sharon look an awful lot like David Dial around the eyes. I assume, though, that the possibility of her being related to him has been ruled out...?

I wish more human mothers were so protective of their young :( And I wish that more people would be interested in adopting the thousands of strays that aren't "celebrities"......it's wonderful that so many people wanted to help Scarlett and her babies, but there are so many more...

Unless it's because there was enough "reasonable doubt" as to who had access to this child and committed the crime, I don't know. Regardless, I'm glad she's safe now. Angry beyond words at the trauma she suffered......but glad she's safe now.

Seriously. If this had been a child or adult kidnapped by a stranger, held for years against her will, left without food and water, tortured, left in a room filled with her soiled clothing.......that stranger, when caught, would be headline news for months, and quickly found guilty and put...

Seriously. We have the GOLF channel, for crying out loud. A channel dedicated to missing persons/ UID persons would be way, way more interesting (and worlds more helpful) than 24 hours of golf a day.
