There was nothing prejudicial or even unprofessional about that remark by Bach. If it had been so prejudicial the defense would have objected or the court would have noted it sua sponte and told the jury to disregard the comment.

I think you're exactly right. People are very careless and imprecise with answers. It is like pulling teeth to get someone to be specific with dates and times. And it makes no difference who they're talking to - police, their own attorneys, etc.
