The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

The IP continues to stall Darlie's case at the state level. They have only sent the sock so far for more DNA testing.

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

The IP is working with Darlie's appellate lawyer. They got involved in my opinion because she has been sentenced to death and they are now advocates for ending the Death Penalty because her case doesn't fit their criteria. Here is the article that states what they are doing. The DNA testing has...

    Darlie is very guilty

Totally agree, She's guilty. Never any sorrow or grief for the boys only for herself.

Vanessa Potkin Has Taken Darlie Routier's Case

Actually Darlie has had DNA testing on the evidence in 2011, 2013 and 3015 when the Y-STR DNA tests found no unknown male DNA on any of the evidence. She has also had testing in 2018 and on and on. Texas has been extremely transparent. Darlie has had more post conviction DNA testing than any...

Update Status Hearing 3/10/23.Motion filed for access to Latent Prints.

So all those comments her side has been making that they have DNA that proves Darlie is innocent is a crock. Else why would they need this? If they had DNA why wasn't it presented at this status hearing?. This is a stall tactic to keep her case in state court. Once it gets to the federal level...

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

Stull waiting. There is a stats update on March 31, 2023, that's if they ever get there, there have been several continuances. Yes it's just stall tactics. Some of the test results should be available by now.

Vanessa Potkin Has Taken Darlie Routier's Case

My question is why now when Texas and the New York IP have turned her down twice in the past with Texas claiming she's guilty. This leads me to believe that Podkin et al is now only interested in halting the death penalty. They will probably get her case commuted somehow. As long as she never...

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

Me too and it's not based on Silly String. My beiief is from a thorough review of the evidence, her statements, her trial testimony, etc. No doubt in my mind, the 911 call sealed it for me

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

Devon's murder charge was held back in case she somehow got off on Damon's murder. Also the state could seek the DP due to Damon's age.

What one thing made you sure of her guilt or innocence?

But those are the surgeons who treated and their testimony along with the ER nurse leaves no doubt that the necklace fell off the neck in the ER when the bandage was removed. It was not embedded in the wound and was not surgically removed.

Does Anyone Think It Was Darin?

That's just an old untrue claim, made by Darlie's lawyer Cooper who is not very well versed with the truth. Darin was in fact the first suspect in this case but all the physical evidence pointed to Darlie and not him. Darin's statements to police never changed whilst Darlie's constantly changed...

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

I agree with you, she is clearly playing to the cameras. It was her TV debut, she always wanted to be an actress/singer

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

The IP is holding up her execution. They are sending off the window screen for tests and culling the original DNA test results for errors I assume. Just delaying the enevitable. Although I don't like the DP so if they commute her to LWOP that would be fine. As lonng as she never gets out.

GUILTY TX - Stacey Stites, 19, found murdered, Bastrop, 23 April 1996 *Appeal denied*

The IP is lying to the public about the Rodney Reed case. The DNA in this case is overwhelming proof of his guilt.

He would be eligible for parole if he had not received the DP and no one wants him walking around free, a serial rapist who graduated to murder, probably would have become a serial killer if not for the courage of Linda S.

GUILTY TX - Stacey Stites, 19, found murdered, Bastrop, 23 April 1996 *Appeal denied*

What defense attorney doesn't claim the state withheld information and evidence at his trial? Reed is so guilty it stinks. There was no information withheld about a relationship because there wasn't one. Stacey was happily planning her marriage, not sneaking off sleeping with Reed, just...

The Innocence Project and Darlie Routier

Darlie was due in court last June for a hearing re: the running of the print through AFIS and the DNA test results. However it was postponed due to Covid. Lawyers for the IP have been looking into her case for over two years starting with the bloody print called 85J and the running of the...
