Discussions on Formal Sentencing Hearing - Jodi Arias #1

Just now listening to the jury interview. Heartbreaking. The hold out juror was unquestionably dishonest and strikes me as some kind of sick anti DP activist. It doesn't make sense in any way that someone would break with the rest of the jurors, based on what I'm hearing. The stack of DVDs with...

Discussions on Formal Sentencing Hearing - Jodi Arias #1

Was Alice Laviolette there to show solidarity with Jodi? After all, she's on record stating her belief that Jodi was a victim? I didn't see here on the news...

More evidence that these judges need to be less nonchalant about jury selection, and we need, need, need, basic testing to determine a person's ability to reason and think critically before allowing them on a jury. Belvin Perry gave us the woman "who can't judge another person"...and allowed her...

I dn't think he or anyone else said he wanted to be an MMA fighter. He did it for exercise and to lose weight. The Martins are the ones who cost the HOA the money, they sued and got a huge unearned payout imo.

I don't hold out much hope. After the Casey Anthony verdict I gave up on FL. I just hope the feds can get involved and overturn anything he's convicted of. imo

Verdict Watch Thread Saturday July 13

I've seen no evidence of that. He is community minded, educated, all witnesses describe him as polite and intelligent, no illegal street drug use, etc. imo.

Verdict Watch Thread Saturday July 13

I can't believe they're taking this long on a very simple case. The state showed it has absolutely no proof whatsoever of what they were claiming. I pray that emotion is set aside and logic and critical thinking are employed. imo.

Wholly untrue? Well, not in my opinion. TM could have gone home but chose not to.<modsnip>

Verdict Watch Thread Saturday July 13

I don't think I would have much sympathy for TM if I were GZ. TM created this mess when he attacked him and it's basically ruined GZ's life. He was defending himself imo.

Justice for George. I hope the jury comes back soon with a not-guilty verdict so he can try to repair the damage done to his life by the media and the civil rights industry. imo

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

No way in the world GZ could catch TM if TM wanted to get away imo.

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

Most of his closing (non) argument has been asking bizarre, stilted non-sequiturs and seeming slightly confused. imo.

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

Of course he did imo. He attacked GZ, all evidence points to that, he was mad at the creepy cracker and took action. Also, I would say that having illegal street drugs in his system was wrong as well, imo. GZ did not commit a crime imo it was self defense. When you intentionally leave out facts...

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

Have you been watching the trial? Serious question. I don't think anyone who has watched the trial would say TM died because of fear imo. He died because he attacked a person who defended themselves with a gun. Profiling is a good thing and GZ was right in this case imo. TM did have drugs in his...

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

Evidently there wasn't enough evidence of wrongdoing to take it from him? I don't know. I would trust GZ completely to have a gun. imo

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #13 Thursday July 11

If he's found not guilty why would he not be allowed to carry a weapon? He did the right thing and was lucky he had his gun that night imo. Now there are death threats, etc against him, he deserves to protect himself imo.
