George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #14 Friday July 12

I just realized something about myself. I haven't been on websleuths for a long time--I went back and read some of my old posts. I 'discovered' by doing that that (apparently) I start out one way (probably mostly affected by media coverage), but later (after watching the trial), I "usually" have...

Poll: Guilty, Not Guilty, Hung Jury

When this made the news I believed Zimmerman to be guilty and I signed the Trayvon Martin petition about charging Zimmerman. After watching the trial, however, I vote not guilty. Very sad for Martin's parents--but not guilty.

FL - Adam Kaufman on trial for the murder of wife Eleanora Kaufman, 33

I've been watching this trial. At first when I heard the 9-1-1 tape I thought the defendant was not guilty. He did not sound like the typical guilty caller...he sounded nearly hysterical. The tape goes on and on because they ambulance couldn't find the place. Later, however, I am shifting to...

Where is Casey? (All things related to FCA's location) #3

I agree that "old Casey" wouldn't like this town...but "new Casey" might be fine wherever she is ....because she is not in jail anymore! She probably lives her whole life online now. I wonder if she is in discussion groups like we are! lol....Hi Casey!

    George has Casey's car destroyed

I was a claims adjuster in Florida in the late 1970's. I'll always remember a case we had where a man killed himself in his nice new car. He and the car were in an orchard many miles from where he lived. The car had been closed up when he died and he decomposed for several days in the blistering...

Pictures of Casey Anthony from TMZ

those photos are her. The weight gain is surprising...but she does love tight clothes that accentuates it. It's sort of comical that she has put on blue contact lenses and eyeglasses..it is like her "Clark Kent" disguise. I have not read this whole thread (so forgive me if it has been mentioned)...

    This Verdict Proves My Theory

I remember the many arguments here over the past three years about whether or not Casey Anthony is pretty. She is most certainly pretty...that is why this case went the way it did from the start. She doesn't look or act like a killer. I was one who wanted to believe that she killed Caylee...

Will the Anthonys Now Believe that Casey Did It?

Does anyone remember Mrs. Joey Buttafuoco? She was the wife who got shot in the face when she answered her front door by her husband's mistress, Amy Fisher, the "Long Island Lolita". For months and months after her recovery (that left her deformed) Mrs. Joey B told anyone who would listen that...

2011.07.11 Greta Van Sustern interview with Jury Foreperson

The first thing that came to me when I discovered the Foreman was the single "good looking" in-his-30's PE teacher was that he "fell in love" with her.....and wanted to "protect her". I don't know if I can make it through the interviews...but (sorry I have not read the entire thread) is there...

Casey gets a 1 million dollar offer for first story

I was just thinking about George...and how he must feel about all this. You know the jury apparently didn't like his "attitude" (that still cracks me up). It seems to me that George has had some difficulty making money the past decade or so..what do you bet this type of thing REALLY chaps his...

What are you sick of hearing since the verdict has been announced regarding Casey?

I'm sick of people saying that we must "respect the jury's decision"..I do not.

The Verdict: Cindy & George's Reaction

Casey is going to have so much income she will be able to buy a much nicer house and have Bella Vita! She'll never go back to Hopespring..IMO

The Verdict: Cindy & George's Reaction

Cindy is such a bizzare woman. Yeah, I know that she is Casey's mother, but how does she look (lovingly) at Casey and act like the princess gives a rats a$$ about her..?? Casey has NOT ACKNOWLEDGED THEM FOR THREE YEARS! Cindy is truly NUTS..and there is no other way to slice it.

Enter new thread ideas here! (All new threads must be approved)

do we have a thread about Jeff Ashton's classy appearances on several shows? I watched him on "Dr Drew" and he kept saying that he accepts the verdict and that he personally still holds his view that KC murdered Caylee. I am impressed that he gives the most horrible jury in history "credit". I'd...

The evidence failed Caylee, not the Jury.

I was a juror in a murder trial in the mid 80's. I'll always remember what the Judge said to us when he instructed us (and I don't know if he was "wrong" to say this or not, I just remember that his words helped us understand our job. He read everything and then at the end said "remember...

Has any doubt crept in to your 100% guilty belief?

I was one who initially thought it was an accident that she staged so as to take blame off of herself. It was such a crazy thing to do, the duct tape, the heart sticker..I thought SURELY she was just weirded out when she discovered Caylee dead and she did these bizarre things...in a "fugue"...

All sorts of people suing casey

George should get in line to sue her and Baez for dragging him through the mud with no evidence! Do it George! The entire country would get behind you!!

    Post-Verdict Therapy

I almost started a thread similar to yours...wanting to offer and get ideas for how to feel positive and move forward. For myself, 1. I really AM swearing off all future trials (this was only the 2nd one I ever watched, I very much regret the time I invested in it). 2. I will write the...

Time to move on/How best to honor Caylee now *merged*

In the beginning I thought KC was pretty and I was aware that she did not have a violent background. I felt she probably had experienced incest. I thought her odd behavior during the 31 days was a "fugue". I gave her every benefit of the doubt. I "identified" with KC (a very unpopular position...
