I'll see what i can find out about getting her familial DNA in the system. That's something that should have been done a long time ago... maybe they didn't know, or the family is unreachable... ???
Thanks ladies!
hey, I don't think I'm able to pm just yet... can someone tell me what...
Hi there CarlK90245,
Yes, I agree. I know they didn't have a big budget to do this series with, but I think they did a fine job. I've watched all of them so far, and I see that they're showing a variety of circumstances. Like in Michelle's (not Biggs, above) case, she was found alive after 6...
BIG NEWS!! There is a new show on Discovery ID in which Princess Lavender is going to be given some air-time!! Forgive me if you guys already know this, but I didn't see a post about it, at least not in this thread.
It's called, "Disappeared," and it's already airing weekly. They have 13...
I recently saw Leah Peebles' story on "America's Most Wanted" and immediately thought of this reconstruction! Esp w/ the timeline and the many changes of hair color and beautiful teeth! So glad to see you guys beat me to it - suggesting her as a possible, I mean. I have not frequented...
I posted this once before (#108 in the general discussion forum), but it's been so long, I'll put it again here... upon further inspection, the "L" on her class ring is actually NOT inlaid under the stone, but rather it is etched into the top of it. One can feel the indention. It was probably...
This is great information! But I could have sworn there WAS Dna in Beard's case, from another case she was compared to. I could be wrong, but I'll look into it. Can you tell me where you got the info that there WASN'T any, RK, please?
A couple of Pros for Maria Trinidad Velasquez being Princess Blue are:
She is the right age to have attended Robert E. Lee (Houston) and be in the Class of 1975.
Her birthdate is in September so her birthstone would have been blue. The class ring on Princess Blue's finger has the blue...
Maria also had at least 2 children at the time of her disappearance, whereas, it wasn't noted anywhere that Princess Blue had any children although it was still a possibility. What do you make of this?
Good observations, RK. You know, every time I talk to anthropologists across the country...
I'm soooo glad you added in about her being listed as Asian on another site. I was going to look into her to compare to THIS case, but now I have another one in mind for her as well... thanks RKnowley - perceptive as ever, aren't you? ;-)

Hi again Salem and everyone ~
I can try to contact the Detective. You're right, RKnowley, Sgt. Coffman has retired and it was with heavy heart that this case was not solved. He TRULY did all that he could to try to get answers on this. I applaud him on being so approachable tho, and he can...
Hello to all once again!!
It's been a really long time since I've been able to catch up here, much less post. So long in fact, that I had to re-register everything and it still acknowledges that there is a "sloane" on record here, and wouldn't let me re-use it. So I had to go with this name...
