Well you won't get slammed by me - I agree completely. It can happen in the best families, worst families, good kids, bad kids, people you would never, ever imagine. I completely agree that drugs were involved in some manner - whether by MC or the perp.

I respectfully disagree, because I used that very car wash a few months ago. I must confess, I'm not very good about keeping my vehicle clean. My husband had been asking me for weeks to "take it through the car wash on the Ave." and reminded me specifically one day to do it while I was going...

It just occurred to me (and I got a chill thinking about it!) that the perp could have talked her into going to the car wash knowing that later he/she would need to wipe off fingerprints and it wouldn't be as obvious on a clean car.

If that was the case, then who of those people that have been sleuthed here so far could have carried on a normal routine during those four days and not have attracted at least some sort of attention from those around them?

I agree completely! I don't know the family so I don't have an opinion on them specifically, but it seems natural to wonder whose car is on (or very near) your property and what they would be doing there. It's a remote area and I wouldn't want someone trespassing either!
