Maybe not the place to ask the question, but I will: He hadn't even left work yet, so how did he already know he was going to be late?

BBM, I think so too. She parked in his parking spot, left post it notes for him all over the house about her killing the kids saying "I stomped your heart" This was aimed at him. Not really about the kids and she was jealous over the seemly better relationship he had with them. Not denying...

Now THAT shows premeditation and 'logical', clear thinking. She knew what she was going to do and that what she was doing was wrong. Of course, she could have had lucid moments at times.

I think she is required to be there IF she is capable of understanding the process that is going on around her.

Just guessing, but probably. She still drove a car, which takes some rationale to know to stop at a red light, go at a green light, she knew where to go and how to get there, etc. From the crime scene photo's it appeared she cooked and cleaned. But that doesn't require an emotional response...

Wish it was an option, but it's not. Supreme Court ruled in 2005 that the Death Penalty is not an option in juvenile cases.

That whole situation seemed 'orchastrated' to trip the jury. And ANY employer knows that it's not legal to fire someone over jury duty. She had to let her HR person know she was going to be gone and had to get permission. Once it's granted, there is *nothing* an employer can do about it...

BBM, Moving, so I'm in and out. Missed all of todays and been reading to catch up. Saw a tweet about an employer calling the defense??? saying the employee was fired? Is THAT true?? Because we all know the judge won't sit one minute for that. And it's suspect twofold, one they seemed to have...

By the time the second shot rang out, Long was in a panic. His 'fight or flight' instinct had hit on it's top level and he had made the decision to flee. What he mistook for the baby, was probably a cry from Sherry West. SW was nervious during the interview and had just suffered a terrible...

That was just gut wrenching to listen to. It was like he was trying to point out that shooting a baby who was asleep in his stroller, at close range, is 'ok' as long it was 'merciful'. If anyone is 'wired wrong' in this case, it's Gough.

Watching him attack and try to discredit a woman who was shot, watched her baby get shot and has a few quirks in her personality, kind of makes me :banghead: too.

Late jumping in but, she stated in the interview with Det's that she had lived in Brunswick for 10 years.

And, according to news reports, there were a total of 6, thats SIX, microscopic GSR particles found between SW and LS. Five on Sherry and one on Louis.

The very fact that Elkins robbed and shot a pastor and another man who witnessed the whole thing just one week prior to him do the very same thing to her tells me this is a chosen lifestyle for his client. If it waddles and quacks, it must be a duck.

From all indications, she lived alone. I havent heard if her parents are still alive, but she reached out to her daughter and got her hand bit for her effort. I don't think there was anyone else to do it but her.

My husband had a prepaid funeral. If he had not had one, I would have had to been on the phone with the insurance company myself the next day trying to get up enough money to bury him. They are the one's who contacted me within a couple of days saying they were going to cut a check for X...

She wasn't up there long and obviously has an axe to grind with her mother. From what she posted on her FB page and what I gleened from the web (news reports) (Can I say that? If not, sorry, delete), this kid needs to clean up her own back yard before she starts judging her mothers. I think...

Wow. Bless her heart, she probably had more pain meds on board than a Walgreens tractor trailer truck. Agreed that she should have been in the hospital longer. She's probably on Medicaid, but even that medical care is not so bad that they would throw you out of the hospital that fast.

Mine froze too, then cut to a live feed showing the outside of the courthouse
