Hello Flightlevel,
After hearing back from Ms. Fontana I never did get a follow up message regarding the UID from NJ. I apologize coming back to this thread and updating it sooner.
I still think of Cynthias case often and check every now and then to see if there are any updates on here.
Apparently MC did an interview with Doctor Phil a day or two before confessing to the police.

Jeff,
Thanks for taking the time to come and give us an update on the case.
I am so sorry for your loss but glad that you and your family will finally have some measure of closure from having located Elizabeth.
Thanks for posting that link.
I apologize if this has already been covered but a search on JBs email address from the findagrave link yields some posts in a Yahoo Group that shows the Bain family was still in Tennessee in 2010...
BBM, from the Charley Project details of Kaylenes dissappearance.
Obviously, the story could be a lie but maybe the part about the forest service road is true.
Certainly sounds like something that should be checked out further considering the uid was found on a forest service road.
Here is some more of the story from the Philadelphia Daily News. It looks like his story is in this weeks People magazine for those who are interested.
Apparently, he was adopted by a military family and raised in South Jersey...
Was just coming here to post the same link. It definitely made me think of Grace Doe when reading about this guys victims and the photos in his possesion.
Googling the name, I found the following website which has a copy of the letter and picture that Elizabeths parents sent to various newspapers across the country.

Reading the posts on this thread, I hope that James and Jeff were able...
Sorry for the OT reply on the Conlin mess but I just wanted to add that NJ law was changed in 1996 so that there is now no statute of limitations on sex crimes.
Unfortunately, for the Conlin victims, their abuses took place well before the change in the law.
Back on topic, I'm afraid that...
PHILADELPHIA Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky sexually abused a boy more than 100 times and threatened to harm his family to keep him quiet, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday by a new accuser who is not part of the criminal case.
...
The lawsuit claims Sandusky...
At first glance, the character in the middle of the signature looks to me like a "y" rather than a "T" or a "+" sign.
As in Pam y Dwight (Pam & Dwight) but written with a spanish "and" that, possibly, implies hispanic or latino heritage?
It would definitely fit in with a connection to Florida...
The NAMUS link states that the probable year of death for the UID was 2003 or 2004 (she was discovered Oct. 26, 2004) so it sounds like the original speculation on the remains being there for up to 5 years may have been incorrect.
This case is very close to home (in a literal sense) so I am...
Interesting...
I seem to remember a comment made on one of the recent Sandusky articles that I read to the effect that Sandusky had a son who attempted suicide back in the mid 1990s.
Can anyone confirm if this stray comment is factual and, if so, was Mr. Madieras brother in law the son in...
I apologize if this has been posted previously or if there is a better picture in one of the previous threads but I saw the following CNN blog with a picture of the laptop and hard drive and thought it was worth sharing here...
Everytime I read those quotes from Sandusky and then think about the 1998 investigation being dropped it makes me cringe.
The "wishing I were dead" part sure sounds like someone who knew what they were doing was SERIOUSLY wrong. Like a subconscious plea from someone who knows what they are...
Thanks, I missed the other thread so I appreciate you bringing them over.
I sure hope there is nothing to the donor story but, if there is, it would definitely introduce a new potential angle with individuals powerful and wealthy enough to make Mr. Gricar disappear permanently or scare him into...
