Been a few years since I've been here (I was the guy that was recreating the scene before the threads were locked). Just wanted to hop on and give you guys a resource... that I maintained throughout the trial. This "resource" has every document released by all parties involved in the trial...
First, welcome to the forum!
I'd like to see that actually, but first I'd recommend getting the scaling proper. I could make something fit out of scale, but in scale is key. The dimensions of the gun are: 5.85" length, 4.3" width. The average size of a human head, since we don't have Mr...
Something else odd that I just found. 20min mark she says he wanted to get back home to "finish watching the game" - it's my understanding that the game hadn't started yet. Am I wrong?
Can one of our friendly medical professionals help us out with a quick question. In autopsy Mr. Martin was recorded to be 5'11 yet everyone who knew him (and images of him) suggest that he was over 6'. I also noted a discrepancy in Whitney Houston's autopsy measurement - 5'1" recorded, 5'8"...
Nit-picking and Off Topic here, but I think it's normal for measurements at autopsy to not match up with known measurements. One example, outside of Mr. Martin, is Whitney Houston - she was 5'8" but at autopsy they recorded her as being 5'1". Maybe one of our friendly medical professionals can...
It's not really a big change, especially when you compare the changes in his story to the changes in others' stories. He's not really removing details, just saying "I'm not really sure if I actually saw -that-" but he's not saying "it DIDN'T happen at all!" He's just taking a more neutral ground...
Stance doesn't matter in what I stated. In fact, my previous comments about the lady with contacts was that she wasn't a witness for the prosecution that we could tell because we don't know where she lived. If she lived north of the sidewalk and on the far west, for example, it would be logical...
For me, it depends on how much they change their story. Couple examples:
Lady with the contacts - ignore everything she says.
"John" - He didn't really change his story, in my opinion. He did some minor detail changing but the story is essentially the same. Maybe he realized that he didn't...
I think they're trying to backtrack as to how this got into the hands of the media. Who told the reporter that Mr. Zimmerman said that? Does it say? If not, then the backtracking leads to Mr. Martin. In either case, we don't know how many mouths and ears it passed through BEFORE it got to the...
I wonder where you get this. The only manual I've seen is this one:
https://www.bja.gov/Publications/NSA_NW_Manual.pdf
And on page 17 it states:
The only thing it says to not pursue is vehicles a couple sentences above. If they meant for it to be pursue I believe they would've used the word...
I'm saying he would've known of Mr. Zimmerman's comments as he was coming in as the new Chief of Police. I would find it pretty ridiculous that the new chief would come in knowing that the former was forced out and not ask "so, what are the issues?" - even if the former WASN'T forced out, the...
In respect to the topic, the National Neighborhood Watch (not sure about the Sanford specific, but everyone quotes the National on MSM) says you should never follow a vehicle. Just a thought.
Edit: Also wanted to point out that the same manual says nothing specifically about following an...
At this very meeting is when Bill Lee was taking over for the former Chief Brian Tooley. Bill Lee was the Chief of Police when Mr. Zimmerman shot Mr. Martin...
I believe the Sherman Ware case was hinted at when Mr. Zimmerman was speaking of the former chief's pension. I haven't heard the audio or read a full transcript of what he said, but that's my thought.
I think a misunderstanding might be happening with that. Legally they -are- confessions. Outside of the courtroom if you tell someone "they have confessions" it's usually viewed as a negative statement toward the defendant. I think that's what aries is trying to say. Just my thought, of course.
According to one of the recorded witness statements who is a board member (one of three) for the HOA, she didn't know that Mr. Zimmerman was given any title. In fact, he was the only person on the Neighborhood Watch list of volunteers that she was aware of. If the HOA board members didn't know...
