I have to say that, as an adult, I have always felt that all organized religion is nothing more than greed or power-based manipulation. This letter really touched me. So have several posts made here by LDS members, but for some reason Heather's letter really made an impression.
She says she's...
This is slightly (though not totally) off-topic, and I apologize in advance if it causes anyone to lose their current train of thought. I have tried for days to answer my question on my own, no luck:
Threads and threads ago someone linked a story and YouTube video about a previous case occuring...
Thank you for sharing this, indicolite22. I've always been kind of disproving of jurors writing books; in my mind it's always seemed to be motivated by money or their grab at 60 seconds of fame. This man has (at least for his own case) completely erased any notion of that. I can understand his...
Seems to me that after seeing how the previous defense team were ridiculed for their allegations, most attorneys would scrupulously try to avoid them. Or perhaps IN has an apparent high percentage of lying clown lawyers?
I was almost convinced myself that at least one of the two previous...
I don't know how to insert links here but if you search ketamine + pain, there are clinics in the U.S. who do use ketamine (inhalation) for pain treatment. Reputable clinics, not just those currently popping up to treat psych issues. I do believe that some of the latter may possibly be jumping...
Imo some of you have never experienced chronic pain yourselves, or had a child who has SUFFERED with a relatively rare condition that invites all kinds of speculation: faking, exaggerating, malingering...
Add in Beata who had a funny accent, was emotionally wound tight, (what loving parent...

IMO.
But I don't think the memorandum actually says this at all!
Instead they are implying a mentally ill person or two did this in hopes of joining BH's group.
Here's the thing: Pagans don't kill people or stage bloody human sacrifices. I mean maybe the occasional outlier might? but in no way is it a fundamental core of their religion. Actually it's kind of antithetical to modern pagan philosophy.
But you've got a guy who was according to reports...
I don't think the Defense is actually saying BH did this horrible deed. IMO they are speculating that 2 (non-desirable) Odin wannabes did this in order to join the group. BH was the person they needed to please and also, possibly, the person who knew the girls would be on the bridge that day...
I read this article when it first came out and tonight recognized it immediately. Thank you for sharing it.
It's such a complex and emotionally colored issue. I have six children and unfortunately my 2nd oldest son has his issues. I love him very much. It's been difficult and heartbreaking not...
Hahahaha Omg Couldn't happen to a more deserving person!
I know it's petty and I'm sorry..sorta.
For the record, I fiercely support alternative lifestyles (including both sex workers & gender fluidity) but this entitled has caused an endless stream of agreigous sanctimonious .
