Their house is a middle class house, not too shabby, but not too glamorous, either. It's a comfortable size home for four people. Four bedrooms, with one being used as a computer/office room when Casey was in the house. Two bathrooms, one near the three bedroom cluster, and another on the other side of the house attached to the master bedroom. The hall bathroom isn't part of Caylee's room as the master bath is to the master bedroom, it's just next to it.
What you see outside the back of the house is an enclosed patio, or screen room or sun room - whatever they call it. I don't know if it was decided if it was screen or glass enclosed.
Yes, the laundry area is in the garage, not uncommon in many houses. Sometimes people prefer to have more living space and don't mind the little inconvenience of having to carry all their laundry to the garage. Obviously the Anthonys are often in their garage, as it is used as the entrance to their home most of the time - they rarely use the front door. There also appears to be a small chest-type freezer in there.
Be sure to visit this thread about all the sleuthing we did to get the exact layout of their house.

The floorplan in the document dump isn't nearly as exact as the one the sleuths designed from their thorough research. The sleuths had a duplicate house in which to model our floorplan. It was for sale and the real estate agency has pictures and a video (I think) of that house online. So comparing the "for sale" house with pictures taken in the Anthony home, Websleuths were able to produce this terrific floorplan.

There's no formal dining room and no formal living room, just an open family/dining living area combination.
