Muzikman gave me helpful info about the origin of the pic (& other posts in 1st thread) but I've pulled out most of my hair trying to find a doc abt a Kodak confiscated by LE from the A's (GA did turn over a Polaroid w/ a case post #1062).

I lightened up the above pic and it looks like a patch of black landscape cloth near the fence?
Also, are those fallen leaves on the ground around the faucet? Autumn leaves? in July?

I'm positive now that the pic was taken by LE - it was taken 7/16/08 at 10:13:55 PM. One other pic in this folder was taken with the same camera a half hour or so before - a pic of 2 full white trash bags, numbering system is the same (below).

The red stuff looks kind of like red mulch to me....

Hi MM!

Thanks for listing the time pic was taken. Does that mean pic was taken after KC was arrested?
I thought reddish leaves were laying near faucet but could it be mulch? I can tell there is a typical brown mulch on the Lilies along the fence.
Do you think the bags are laying on the A's property or LE property? The pavement or road looks wet-could reddish color be mud?

Don't remember what time she was arrested, could have been tho.

I think the bags were photographed before being moved, at the towyard dumpster. Standard protocol.

The red on the bag - I'd REALLY like to know that myself. Blood? Rust from the trunk? Pizza sauce? Very good question... I'm sure it was tested, don't know if it was in the reports or not tho.

OH OH, I think I know this! Kc's time of arrest! hang on...

Here it is- Wednesday, July 16th, 4:30pm

Looks like something brownish reddish on the ground-mud?, rusty mud? lotsa metal in a towyard and rain would wash rust onto ground (trying to avoid thinking it's blood)

I've seen this picture in a supplemental report from LE. I believe the caption was something like "trash bag in dumpster"...presumably the Johnson's Towing dumpster...and it appeared right before a picture of all the trash laid out on the forensics table.

Just saw this question, and now I'm wondering.... what is the significance of this picture being in this particular folder? Everything else in the folder has to do with the bag of trash from the towyard. Why is this pic in there?

One level up there are organized folders (all contained within a folder titled Photos). There are folders for:
Apartments Casey took LEO to;
Blockbuster photos;
Caylee photos;
John A (photographer);
Photos from bank teller line July 15;
Photos from Anthony L phone
Photos of Avante elderly care facility
Teddy P photos (photographer)

And then the Photos of Garbage from Johnson's dumpster
which contains this photo, seemingly unrelated (although taken with an LE camera same night as pic of the dumpster itself, and pic of bag of garbage).

Must mean something to be in that folder....

It's late,but follow me here......what if something from that area of the yard ended up in KC's trunk,transferring to the trash bag with decomp on it.
The same way a dog hair would stick to a chair,then end up on the pants of someone who sat in the chair.
Maybe KC set Caylee down in this area [in bags]and a leaf or woodchip stuck,then transferred to the bag when it came into contact with Caylee in the trunk.

Yes yes ITA abt the folders' location!
You mentioned previously LE used a Kodak. Did LE develope film from 2 Kodak funsavers but only make prints and CD from 1? The 2nd had no images.
Oh, wait-did the 2 Kodaks come from the A's?
Rats I thought I was onto something

thx AZ you're right, I remember that now although It would've taken me forever to find it!

The only other part of the pic of interest is maybe the area on the ground between faucet and fence. I thought it was landscape fabric but could it be puddled water?

Maybe it was extra trash from tow yard. Seems like he said the one from the car had yellow ties. Can't member what color he said his were---he did say tho. Maybe when LE went after the bag---they didn't know which bag so they took several---just in case.
 
Ok, So I started the task of creating a photobucket account that was just like KC's. I did not realize the amount of time this would take... but now you can look at all the pictures in a photobucket account... without downloading the thousands of files that she did.

I put the icons/quotes into the same folders that they came out of the zipped file. You can find the different folders on the left hand side. Also, I added 1 folder which is While Caylee was MIA, and those are all the pictures that KC uploaded when Caylee was missing.

Looking through all these icons, you can see the patterns. Like there are several icons in a row dealing with "sexy" or "panties" or "party" you can see the searches. From looking at the zip file, most of these icons were uploaded in 2007, early 2008.
