No update yet on the docket, and no updates that I can find anywhere.

Perhaps on the evening (local) news later tonight.

Often times it takes a day or more to update the docket. It didn't even say what kind of hearing Mama Croslin was going in for today, so I guess what happened today would depend upon what type of hearing she had. I don't think the docket shows an arraignment for her yet, so this may have only been her arraignment - in which case, she would have simply pled "no guilty" (of course).

She better hope she gets found not guilty, or her sentences will be brought forward for Counts I and II (Uttering a Forged Instrument & Forgery) back from September 2009.

Wonder how those 50 hours of Community Service and drug testing are going for Count III on which she took a plea bargain?

Thank you Ath, that is what I was wondering, so she got community service and drug testing. Was she not sentenced to 18 months probation though? Please forgive my stupidity involving these matters, I get confused.

Yup, there is an Order of Probation on there. Doesn't seem to say for how long. I do seem to remember 18 months, though.

I just can't imagine committing all these crimes and not doing any jail time. Unreal.
 
Ath, this must have escaped me but I see the 1/14/10 entry reading that she had to pay restitution to M Martin. Is this the same Martin that ToC stole the gun from and then her and her hubby ran to return it after he called Chelsea?

So she swiped a check from him while ToC was lifting the gun? This is a disabled, blind man isn't it?

Yup, that is the same M. Martin. The old, blind man. :(

Tommy got arrested for stealing the gun, and Mama Croslin got arrested for 3 charges related to stealing the check:

Count I - Uttering a forged Instrument

Count II - Forgery

Count III - Petit Theft

Lisa took a plea bargain on Count III, and Counts I & II were withheld. However, if she gets into trouble again, Counts I & II can be brought forward. (That's why I mentioned last night she better hope she's not found guilty on the newest charges stemming from the purse stealing at Walmart).

Lisa was actually in TN when she got arrested for the 3 charges related to the check (They held her as a "Fugitive from Justice". She was then brought back to FL. I remember waiting and watching the TN booking and the Putnam booking to see when she was moved. I have a few screenshots from TN. I'll post them for you.

This upcoming hearing should be interesting. Ath, have you ever seen the incident report for the Walmart purse charge? I have been waiting to read that....any insight on this, especially why we haven't seen it yet? : ) I enjoy picking your brain...

Why did they wait almost 2 months to arrest her on a felony charge? It isn't like they didn't know where Lisa Croslin was living. C'mon, EVERYONE knows where the Croslins live. Instead, they waited to pick her up outside the Courtroom where both her husband and daughter were appearing on charges. (With tv cameras present).

I suppose we could call up and order the arrest report, but it would be a lot easier if it would pop up online like all the others... :crazy:

The thing I do NOT understand is how so many people down there that I've watched in the booking logs keep getting out of jail that are on probation, and get arrested over and over. Where I live, if you get arrested and are out on bail conditions and get arrested again - you do NOT get a chance to get arrested again. You violated your bail conditions and you just stay in jail until your trial. No getting arrested over and over. Look at Tommy Croslin, for example. He has been arrested how many times while on bond? Blows my mind! :banghead:

I just want to read the narrative. It looks like Patty B filed the complaint on 12/19, so the 12/22 date, is that when Lisa C was charged with it? I thought maybe they found the purse while searching the Croslin place but I guess thinking about it now, the search didn't happen until a month later, I know, I have a one track mind.
 
I'm jonsing for what happened in Lisa court appearance yesterday. Dang why can't we find it. Misty will be so upset if Lisa doesn't get there to tell her how beautiful she is and how much Ron loves her.

ladonna, trust me, this not a slam. Most of us here are normal (or kind of) and I really feel bad about Lisa and, actually what when on in Lisa's life as she was growing up.

Cops here in East Texas, waited one full year to pick up my daughter's ex up on his violation of probation warrant. & then it was only because he was involved in a wreck. Although he had no license, was high & drunk, had pills in the car, no insurance, caused the wreck...he was only taken in for the warrant. rolls eyes. I can't tell you how many people here, break probation & DON'T go to jail. They just redo their probation. After his wreck, a cop told me that he could've charged him with a DUI, etc...but he didn't have time to do the paper work, because he had stabbings to worry about. WTH??? As far as I know, there hasn't been a stabbing here, in years.

been sentenced to 12 months probation yesterday & Hank sentenced to 18 months probation according to Grandma Flo.

Not sure when this took place, I can't see where the court docket reflects that yet. Still checking for other confirmation. Also, he says Flora doing better, daughter out of hospital and Flo is scheduled to appear on his Sunday per his phone call with her.

Waiting to hear confirmation of punishment, in the meantime, I'd just like to know - how all of these people with previous criminal backgrounds manage to only receive probation? :banghead:

Can't answer that one for ya!...lol. If they did in fact receive probation are they allowed to leave Putnam County without permission? Anyone know?

Please remember this isn't gospel, I just thought I would report what I read from Levi for anyone interested here. I can't see where they went to court. maybe they were sentenced on the 13th? I am not good with court details or reading the docket.....but I know many of you here are!


ETA....wait a min...it's not May yet...huh
 
If it's true that Hank Sr was sentenced to 18 months probation, he will also not be able to visit Misty at St. Johns. The legal system is playing hard ball with Misty and frankly it is well deserved. She's right that LE can't make her talk but they can make her life *and her family';s) miserable in the meantime. I don't believe I have ever seen such a selfish indiviual.
 
Lisa has already served time in a jail for the gun theft.....for a gun she'd replaced long before she was ever charged for the gun. Not excusing it or justifying the sentence (if that's what she gets). Just sayin........the lady was in jail.

Your right debs....punishment handed down is on the courts....She can't help what they order. I just hope she has no knowledge of what happened to Haleigh, too many people have let this little one down, imo.

Lisa can't travel. Obviously, Hank can, since he's visiting Misty. He's the one who said Lisa can't travel out of Putnam to visit Misty in St. Johns because of her legal issues (having to be extradited from Tenn, flight risk?). I don't know what they have received charges on already, if any, but both Hank (doctor shopping) and Lisa (felony theft) have scheduled court dates for May 13th for pre-trial hearings for current charges.

Yes, thank you. Yesterday when I posted that Grandma Hollers had reported to Levi that Mama and Papa had both only received probation, I was sure to add that this was per a phone conversation between Levi and grandma hollers. I don't want to assume that Gramma H lied about court but rather she may have misunderstood a question from Levi about their ongoing court cases.

I saw on the PC criminal dockets that both of them are scheduled to appear in court on 5/13, so I was a tad confused by the probation thing. I know Levi visits WS often....maybe he could expand on the phone conversation with Flora. ;) If not, he is reporting that she will be on his show Sunday evening so maybe we can all look forward to that?
