I am attending a memorial tomorrow and maybe JB will be there. I will try to be nonchalant.
Forgive me missing a question-I believe that one of you asked about the hearing yesterday. In lieu of the hearing, it is my understanding that Fontelle generously turned over the contents of the house on Carnation drive for the daughters to pick through. The last report I had from a witness was that there were moving vans and the walls were taken out to the studs.
But perhaps that is just an exaggeration.
One has to wonder if the new patio lights which have sat on the back porch to this very day, uninstalled inspite of being used as "evidence" that JM had been asked to install them, were taken along with the rest of the items.
Just wonderin.
ETA: oh I forgot, from the last list of memorabilia attached to the motion, Fontelle was to be left with Bob's mattresses and the chair lift.

Interesting.......So installing the patio lights was one of the odd jobs SIL claimed to be doing July 27, 2009. I wonder why SIL never installed them. Perhaps he was too busy doing other odd jobs.
SIL could have returned the following day, or any other, to install the patio lights but he did not. Interesting.
From Believe on pg 17 "I suppose the presence of either JM would depend upon whether or not they had reason to avoid being in Placentia."

I've been following this case from the beginning and have read all the WS posts from the start. From "ground zero" here in Placentia, I have a siting of JM told to me by my adult children, who live in the neighborhood. On Sat, Jan 8, 2011, they observed JM (SIL) and ARH (GS) together arriving in ARH's truck and visiting outside on ARH's lawn. They obviously were at ease with each other as they were seen laughing and talking before JM's departure.
So far we have not seen any signs - flyers - posters in any stores - lawns - local newspapers.. or anywhere.. regarding the reward for information on Bob.
:furious::furious::furious:
Does anyone know how the Orange County Trackers are doing on this case?
Something I don't recall being posted. Is there any evidence JM had done any helping to get the house ready between the date Fontelle left for MO and the date Bob went missing? I still find it rather odd the timing of this occured less than 24 hours after the family meeting and at the 11th hour prior to Fontelles expected return.
I'd like to know the last date JM had done any repairs prior to the day Bob went missing. I hope LE has looked into that along with the dates the items such as the porch lights which were still sitting on the back porch were purchased. Also unsual is JM left a note indicating he hadn't finished all the work and would be back to finish, why then did he not return the following day with his wife when his wife was still expecting Bob to show up Wednesday when Fontelle was expected to return. That he did not return the following day with his wife stands out to me.
JMO
BBM. Agree big time. I can't think of a good reason why he didn't return the next day...maybe he didn't feel well...
I can just picture RB in the house with clipboard and print out of the list: "Betty Boop tray - check..."
I wonder where she had the loot (I mean memorabilia) carted to? Her house? Did the two other daughters then go over to her house? I bet it was a party!
there was just one king sized North American Van Line truck in front of the house. Movers came out with load after load of furniture and boxes well into the evening. There were also several non-neighbor cars parked near the house.
Daughter R referred to Fontelle as a "tenant." I suppose we could say the same for daughter PB and GS AH.
Re-reading some of the daughter's posts.
Daughter R: August 8, 2009
"Our family wanted to be charitible by allowing Fontelle to temporarily stay in our parents' home, until we know more. The home has to be maintained as a part of OUR parents' family trust. All our Dad's attorney confirmed is that Dad had NOT amended his half of the trust to include his new wife of less than a month."
IMMHO charity usually means giving...as in "charit able" From what I have read on previous WS posts, three days after Fontelle arrived, the three girls went to Fontelle knowing that she was a stranger in town and vision impaired. Did they ask Fontelle if she needed any help? Was there food in the house for her? Did they offer to drive her anywhere? Just trying to imagine how very very hard that must have been for 74 year old Fontelle.... no husband and no compassion from his family.

(respectfully snipped)
Wow, I wonder where that truck (and its contents) went? So far as I know, none of the daughters (not JM, RB, PB), nor grandson AH, has established some sort of a Georgia (and Robert?) Museum, so one must assume there was one, or several, distribution points for the haul. Let's hope someone was hanging around to watch that happen.
Speaking of retainer money-all three are retired or disabled at this point correct? Do you suppose their attorney is working pro bono hoping for a huge payout at the end of the case? I mean let's face it, SSI will not cover the bills they have been racking up clearly.
Wonderin what their tax returns look like and what income they are actually declaring. Just sayin.
