I would like to extend credit to another poster who commented in the linked article below that the family law commissioner "who said this mentally ill mother who had such a low GAF score is the best parent is still making these ridiculous rulings every day in the king county superior court." Please read his comments below the body of the article. There's got to be something that can be done about this. It is SO disturbing that this person is still making decisions "in the best interest of the children".

Thank you, Rougelatete, for bringing this to our attention! I feel so badly for these poor fathers who are at the hands of this commissioner and the/her system. Maybe there is one good thing coming from Sky's sad case. It is bringing this travesty of justice to the forefront!

Oh no, I think I heard the attorney say MM was only 29 pounds when she was taken from Julia into protective custody. 29 pounds for a five year old? I can only imagine how much Sky weighed. :(

I noticed yesterday in one of Miss M's picture just how tiny she was (IIRC it was hair cut day). I know all kids are different but FGS my 18 mo old gbaby weighs 27 lbs (34.5" tall).

29 lbs at 5 years old, she is below the 5th percentile!

Reading over the missing poster, I was struck again by the fact that Sky apparently wasn't wearing shoes when he was "last seen". Now, I can see a mother who is rushing a sick child to the hospital just grabbing him as is and heading for the car, however, few of us believe that Sky was even in the car that day.

I'm thinking that JB was truthful about what Sky was last wearing, maybe to cover her bases if/when he's found in those clothes or just because she hadn't bothered to make up a lie about something like that. Either way, if he wasn't wearing shoes, I think that confirms he did not leave the apartment alive (or at least conscious).

I wish I knew what LE did when they searched the apartment. Did they do an inventory of all of Sky's belongings? Of what food was (or wasn't) in the home? Whether there were any diapers, clean or dirty, inside? Did they dust for fingerprints? Given JB's propensity to clean, I would expect that they wouldn't find many signs of Sky if he had been gone for more than a day.

I just caught up. This is all so heartbreaking. :(

So, I guess we are back at just when did JB dispose of Sky? My gut is saying around mid-Oct, but anything is possible. I think her mental illness must have been really bad over the summer. Those poor children! It's gut wrenching to think nobody bothered to check on the well being of those kids, and SM was prevented from doing so. I hope JB is feeling the walls closing in. :furious:
