Sounds like they're referring to the bloody shirt and/or khakis and/or sneakers/boots that have been discussed here at WS. Apparently it was mentioned on an MSM video, but not in a text article (per response I got when I asked about it yesterday). No one had the link handy, tho.

I saw it i have no idea where the link might be now!

I would also!
I cant even imagine!

And if my daughter was missing id keep everyone as close to me as i could.

Whats that saying keep your friends close.........

I wouldnt rule anyone out till i found her..

Cause we dont really know who did this!

This is why I believe that none of us really know the truth on if they were separated or not. I will say that the first thing I heard Kelli's mom say when talking about their marriage on NG was that they have had some troubles but nothing out of the ordinary. They are so quick to come to Mike's defense that it makes me wonder if Kelli was the one that wanted to be separated and not Mike. This is if, they were actually separated of course. But, if this were true, it would answer a lot of questions as to why Kelli was hanging out with other guys frequently etc. Being separated does not mean they were planning on getting a divorce. It is just a trial period. Many people do it in order to try and fix their marriage. JMO.

Key quotes from MSM reports from LE, family, and friends:

Bergamine said records show her cell phone pinged off towers near the North Ramsey corridor, which led them to search the I-295 area.

Wednesday afternoon, Fayetteville Police and Cumberland County Sheriff's investigators searched the area of a pond near Dobbin Holmes Road in Eastover as well as the I-295 area.

Bergamine confirmed in a press conference Wednesday night that police did search in the Dobbin Holmes Road area after receiving an undisclosed tip.

Bergamine says Bordeaux's husband was not with her at the bar that night and he is cooperating with authorities.

MB
He added that he is cooperating with detectives and has been advised by police to not talk with media.

He was out at the search site Wednesday morning, but says authorities told him it would be best if he left in case anything was found that they wouldn't want him to see.

Bordeaux’s mother, Johnna Henson, said she had been told by police that an individual gave her daughter a ride to the bar, where she took part in karaoke. Henson told HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell on Tuesday that her daughter was “spooked” while someone was driving her home, and that Bordeaux reportedly told the driver to let her out before she reached her apartment. Henson said she does not believe her daughter arrived home.

The tip about the pond was one of many received on a new hotline. People with information about the case should call (910) 433-1114.

"The hotline that was established today has yielded numerous telephone calls with information being relayed to our detectives, who are actively working this case," said Fayetteville Police Chief Tom Bergamine. "I feel our people are absolutely working at 100 percent. We've had a lot a lot of assistance from the military, Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, which is enhancing everyone's efforts."

Matt Henson
Her two-year marriage to Mike Bordeaux also was solid, Henson said. Mike Bordeaux, who isn't in the military, was in Florida at the time of his wife's disappearance.

Henson said he last communicated with his sister on April 11, when they exchanged text messages. He urged reporters not to cast his sister in a negative light, including suggesting that she went absent without leave, saying she was "more than a story" to her family.

The tent where Holbert lived is no longer behind the bar, but Fayetteville Police Chief Thomas Bergamine would not say if it had been confiscated for evidence.

The bar's owner -- who would not give his name -- said Bordeaux was at the bar with Holbert.

The bar owner said a tab for $28 from Friday night was attributed to Holbert and Bordeaux, although he said Holbert does not drink. The tab was $28 for four shots and four beers.

"I drove up here from Fort Stewart when I found out," said Bordeaux's sister, Olivia Cox. "My best friend and I drove up here and went to the police station, and we've just been doing everything we can. I just want my sister, Kelli Bordeaux, brought back safe and sound. I just want my sister."

Neighbors said her family members have gone through much pain in the past few years after losing their father to cancer.
Diane Suchanoff's family spoke with Kelli Bordeaux's mother as she was driving to Fayetteville.
"She's scared, and she's worried. She has no idea what could have happened. I feel very sorrowful, a lot of sorrow for the family," Suchanoff said.

Kelli Bordeaux's mother, Johanna Henson, spoke to CNN's Headline News Network on Tuesday night.
"I don't think she got home from the bar, and supposedly the person who dropped her off ... something supposedly spooked her in the car," Johnna Henson said. "She didn't want to get out of the car, yet she got out of the car, and that's the part I don't understand. If something spooked her, why would she get out of the car?"

Military officials said Kelli Bordeaux made phone calls and sent text messages after she left the bar and gave no indication she was in trouble.

^ phone calls, too? Hadn't heard that before.

The owner of Froggy Bottoms bar in Fayetteville, where a missing Fort Bragg soldier was last seen, was arrested Monday on outstanding warrants unrelated to the soldier's disappearance, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Steven Cantrell, 49, of the 300 block of Lynn Avenue, had outstanding warrants for failing to appear in a Cumberland County courtroom on a driving while impaired charge in 2001.

FBI agents also had warrants for Cantrell's arrest in Boston for failing to pay $400,000 in child support payments to three different women, sheriff's officials said.

Cantrell paid a $500 bond for the Cumberland County charges Monday and was being held on a detainer out of Boston, authorities said.

The brother of missing Fort Bragg soldier Kelli Marie Bordeaux said Monday that her close friend in Florida received a text message from her phone on the morning she disappeared: "Got home safely."

Matt Henson said he doesn't believe his sister sent the message, or one to the same friend about an hour earlier saying she was getting a ride home with a man.

Henson said his sister, Holbert and the family friend, identified only as Justin, met for the first time a week or two before her disappearance.

Henson said Justin was in Fayetteville to visit Bordeaux. The two had been friends since Bordeaux and her family moved about 20 miles from Orlando, Fla., to the small town of St. Cloud in 1996 to escape escalating crime problems.

Henson said he is suspicious that his sister sent the text message to Justin because it doesn't appear that she ever made it home.

Henson said Holbert has acknowledged that he picked up Bordeaux in his car and took her home.

Holbert also told the television station that he only recently met Bordeaux and her friend, whom he did not identify.

"She came into Froggy Bottoms a couple of weeks ago with a friend - male friend - and they was drinking and playing pool," the station quoted Holbert. "And I asked if I could get next on the pool game. They said yes, and that's how I met them, playing pool at the bar."

Still compiling. We can add key quotes as we go.

are they separated?

since the start there have been conflicting reports. Some say they hit a rough patch when she went to AIT, some say they were fine, some say they were separated, some say that he just left town to get a car and visit family...

my current vote: not separated (I have a big hat and will eat it if necessary :)

I believe the family is being truthful about MIKE coming down to visit his father and getting a car. I am just wondering about right before all of this. I am thinking that if they were actually separated that they were trying to work it out during the time she went missing. I believe that MB is completely innocent in her disappearance. IMO

Here's a link to the video which mentions the muddy sneakers. It's near the end.

The shirt and khakis were mentioned (I believe) in another video which has since been removed. Here is a link to a story with a quote from that video.

John wasn't the recipient of the last two text messages sent by KB. Justin was. John mentioned he had texted KB earlier in the day.

Thank you C.Hound. To expound a little on that point - John B. texted Kelli early on Friday and heard back from her. He texted her later but never heard back from her. He kept trying to reach her after she never answered his last text, because it was so unusual for her not to respond, which led him to notice the change of how her cell phone reacted to his calls. By then he had growing concern as to why Kelli wasn't using her phone, answering texts, etc. He also mentioned he checked her FB.

John B. did not say he visited Florida. He said that whenever Kelli visited Florida, they'd get together. It sounds as if those visits included his wife, as he stated that she and Kelli had become friends. He mentioned that he helped Kelli buy a car in Florida (that perked my ears as that's what they're saying Mike was doing in FL - there must be an advantage to buying a car in Florida).

I'm still confused as to who Justin.

Great rundown on John's interview.

Here is detail on Justin - the gent who received the two texts from Kelli's phone the night she went missing - per Kelli's brother Matt Henson:

Henson said his sister, Holbert and the family friend, identified only as Justin, met for the first time a week or two before her disappearance.

Henson said Justin was in Fayetteville to visit Bordeaux. The two had been friends since Bordeaux and her family moved about 20 miles from Orlando, Fla., to the small town of St. Cloud in 1996 to escape escalating crime problems.

There was a ton of hinky stuff happening with the additive of ol' demon liquor. Who's zooming who was the least of the hinky.:jail:

My marriage is not like this either, though I know quite a few people who's marriages are. Some people just don't avoid the temptations that could end up damaging their marriage. What may seem as harmless in the beginning can turn into a disaster in the end.

I did not know that the text messages were a hour apart! I wish we knew the time these were sent!!! moo

would be interesting to also note if (from people in the bar) she was up singing or something when the first text was sent and if NH was watching her stuff at all

or

what if she sent the first text and the perp sent the second one (to the last person texted in the message box)

I also wonder if Justin replied back to her first text...

Some people have asked about reward money. According to Kelli's FB page, some friends are going to be doing a silent auction in NC to raise money for this purpose. No details posted yet.

Interesting. I will try to find out if there is anyway to determine what she was singing at what time. Might not have answers to this right away though.

Would be nice to know when John sent the text that she never responded to.I got the impression it was later that day but maybe not.If later that day it seams strange that she did not respond since according to nick she was texting all night and was supposedly sending Justin play by play texts of her activities that night till what?2:30 in the morning.

radio station 98.1 recruiting people to search also. im sitting hear listening. GOOD!
