-She was at Rock Bay the day she went missing, supposedly.

-The night auditor at the Empress noticed her odd behaviour that night, and the police had a long conversation with her, a few hours before she went missing

-From what I can decipher from FB, her van broke down in Sooke, and she had it towed to the Chateau Victoria, which is right near the women's shelter she had been staying in for the past 6 months, the Sandy Merriman House an Emergency Shelter for women. It is a few blocks over from the Empress

-She went to the library daily

-There seem to be no recent pictures or videos of Emma

I see why Emma wanted to stay at the Sandy Merriman House:

At Sandy Merriman House we are trying to make a positive difference through our actions, we feel that art can be such an important component to this positive change. We look forward to allow a safe place where people can express themselves through painting and crafts.

The Victoria police on Vancouver Island are seeking public assistance in locating a 26-year-old woman who has been missing since late Nov.

Emma Fillipoff has last seen on Burdett Avenue, between Blanshard and Quadra streets. Fillipoff tends to spend a lot of time in the downtown area, but does not have a history of being gone for long periods.

She is described as five-foot-five with a slim build and long blond-brown hair. She was wearing camouflage pants and carrying an orange purse.

If you see Fillipoff, or have any information about where she may be, please contact the VicPD non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 or CrimeStoppers 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

You are a wonder, Wondergirl!! Thanks for all the work you've done!

There is a fundraiser for Emma's search efforts in Perth today:

The 26 year-old Perth native was last seen in Victoria, B.C. Nov. 28. She had been living in a women's shelter there and was last seen by two Victoria police officers that evening.

On Friday, Dec. 21, a fundraising dance will be held at the Timber Run Golf Course in Lanark to help raise money for the Fillipoff family who continue to search for Emma. The Friday night fundraiser will feature a dance and the cost is $10 at the door. It starts at 8 p.m.

Shelley Fillipoff said her daughter's bank account hasn't been touched. "We don't know what she's travelling on... like financially," she said.

According to information on the Facebook page, Emma has no prior history of vanishing. She visited Central Library almost daily.

She loves animals and children, and may have taken care of an elderly woman at one time. She's known to be very giving.

Okay, finally something that is somewhat revealing, to me anyway.

Red Fish Blue Fish is an EXTREMELY popular wharf side fish & chips stand, that operates out of an old shipping container. It ALWAYS has a line-up, and has many, many tourists coming through.

Emma would have come into contact with ALOT of tourists there.

Emma was working at the Red Fish Blue Fish restaurant in Victoria until it closed for the season. She also used to work in Campbell River at the Royal Coachman.

She is very well liked here and it may be possible she is heading this way. The search continues throughout Victoria, Port Renfrew, Tofino, Vancouver and Calgary.

Fillipoff last spoke to her daughter the morning of Nov. 28.

"She sounded quite low and asked if she could come home," said Shelly. "Of course I said yes and offered to come and get her. She then changed her mind and said she would work things out herself."

Here is what Red Fish Blue Fish, the restaurant that Emma worked at, looks like:

I am reminded of the many ferries and boats that are in and out of the Victoria Harbour.

Could Emma have hopped on a boat?

The street musicians must also leave for the season from the Harbourfront. Did she go with one of them?

I think you have some great possibilities there. Considering she didn't take any money, I hope she did leave with someone. Someone trustworthy.

If she did leave with someone I really hope she is headed for home.

Still no Emma? :(

Here is a Christmas message from her Mother, Shelley:

Emma has not been found yet, but we've just had another possible sighting, this one in Metchosin, near Victoria, in the southern portion of Hatley Park and the intersection of Painter Rd. and Metchosin Rd.

Because it's Christmas time, we don't expect anyone to take time away from their own families; however, if you find that you are able and inclined to poster / search the area, we'd be extremely grateful.

Posters continue to be available for all volunteers at the reception desk at Quality Inn, 850 Blanshard, downtown Victoria.

For those who are unable to go but still want to help, we could always use more posters and rolls of tape, which you can drop off at the above location.

Right-click and save as ... the following PDF:
http://jamesfurlong1977.com/EMMA_811_DEC11.pdf

Unfortunately, we have to stress that all sightings thus far are unconfirmed. It's been 25 days since Emma's disappearance, but we cannot lose hope.

If you think you've spotted Emma, please call 911 immediately. If possible, do not lose sight of her, BUT, please keep in mind she may be in a vulnerable state, and therefore should not be approached casually.

Please remember to check your "Other" folder for messages as Facebook throws all messages from non-friends into that folder.

We strongly encourage you to use this HELP FIND EMMA FILLIPOFF page for all tips / sightings.

Myself (Sever), James Furlong, Shelley (Emma's mom), Chantal, and Dana are just wrapping up a meeting.

Statement from Shelley: "Today is day 25 since Emma went missing. It is hard to believe that when I arrived in Victoria on November 28th that my immediate worry was wether or not to wake her up or wait until morning. Here we are, it is December 23rd and still nothing concrete. I will be spending Christmas here in Victoria with my best friend Chantal and a whole bunch of new friends that have shown me nothing but love, kindness, and generosity. Support from friends has been unrelenting and has come to me in many, many forms. Support from total strangers has been overwhelming and has touched me deeply. This has been a re-affirmation of my faith in people and the inherent good in all.
While not spending Christmas with my family seems impossible and surreal, I am spending it as close to Emma as I can. This is where I need to be.

Love to everyone ♥
Shelley

Help Find Emma Fillipoff

Just wanted to clarify: most people consider Hatley park the royal roads forest which also holds Royal Roads university and the Hatley castle. These are surrounded by dense forest. Please do not go in at night, and please, if you go in, go in daylight, in pairs and tell someone where you are. Have a cell phone too if possible.

3M in Perth sent a case of tape to Victoria to help put the posters up.

Someone wrote "FOUND" on the posters at the Greyhound station. Wondering if it might be Emma herself? They should check the writing, I think.

There seems to be so little going on in Emma's case. My father lives in Victoria, and I asked him about her case. He said "she has issues" but he hasn't heard much about it lately.

I DO think the fact that the public perception that she "has issues" is not helping her family find her.

I wish there was more to go on, there seems to be NOTHING.

Royal Roads University is the Military school on the Island in Collwood. It is not too far from Downtown, and it is plausible that she could be there. There is a HUGE deer population, and she was known to want to live in peace with the animals, so, it is not a stretch that she would make her way there.

Here are a few pics of Royal Roads, with Victoria Harbour being on the tip on the right side of the photo:

Here is a link to the Highway Cameras on the highways Emma could have taken.

I wonder if they are recorded? If she was walking, they might reveal something.

They actually have replay's of the day, I am going to review them frame by frame and see if I can see her walking on the highway, by chance. More than a longshot.

The family should ask the Police if this camera footage has been reviewed.

Here is the live webcam from the Royal BC Museum. The Empress Hotel that Emma disappeared from is on the right. The Wharf that all the street musicians play at is directly in front of all the boats, across from the Empress. The Green Bridge is the one that leads to Esquimalt, and the place near the other Shelter at Rock Bay that Emma was thought to have visited the day of disappearance. Crossing the Bridge is one way to get to Collwood, and Royal Roads University, I believe. The Ferry boats that come in from Seattle, dock just to the left of the boats in the wharf. The Seattle Clipper is the name of one, I believe.

Emma's mother was asking what a "Freedom Fire" was on the FB page.

Not sure the relevancy, but, there is a ministry or something in BC named that.

There is a Freedom Fire gospel church in BC. Their phone number matches up to both the Freedom Fire Full Gospel Ministries with an addy in New Westminster (also in Surrey BC with a different tel #) and the Filipino Full Gospel in Vancouver.
