i saw the doggy door in one pic - it was one of those long ones that you slide into the sliding glass dooe
No one said you re-sized but they do not add up like that, the head shot is too small to line up with where his other shoulder would.

I have heard that after woman are raped, that they like to take a very hot shower and just wash themselves over and over. I'm not saying Travis was raped but perhaps Travis felt very dirty and disgusting after what had just happened and he retreated to the shower to try and cleanse his body and mind and to help him try to come to terms with his encounter with Jodi.

In interrogation Jodi said she hadn't had sex with Travis since April. I still have a hard time believing he had sex with her the day she killed him, but if he did, I bet he did feel dirty and disgusted - no afterglow there.

Or...maybe he was just taking a shower and Jodi talked him into it. Or maybe he didn't know she was taking pictures at first. Or maybe he did but he didn't care at first. Taking a shower after 12 or 13 hours of a variety of activities including sleeping, getting naked, and having sex seems normal to me.
Constructing a set of stories to fit some pictures reminds me of a psychological test where 10 unrelated drawings/pictures are shown to a subject and after seeing each picture the subject then has to tell a story about that picture. It indicates the psychological themes and areas of conflict and anxiety for....the subject who is telling the tale. That test, along with several others, was given to Jeffrey MacDonald after he murdered his family. That test is what allowed the experts to determine some latent homosexual urges and conflict in MacDonald.
So, much like the official psych test, 'reading' a photo of TA while in the shower is all about the teller of the tale and has nothing to do with what the subject in the photo is feeling. A snapshot taken of a 1/100 second of time doesn't say much of anything other than placing a person in a specific time/place and situation.
Of all the photos taken that afternoon, the one that is most important is the one in which we see neither victim or perp's face, but see TA's last moments alive as he is being dragged down the hall, with blood gushing over his right shoulder. That one picture can nail the perp but good.

I listened to Melendez again, and I heard him say there were many photos on the camera that were not deleted. But all of the photos we are discussing, that is the naked, the shower, and the "accidental" ones were all deleted but recovered with his software. It's confusing both the way the prosecutor asked and how Melendez answered, but it starts around 9:40 and becomes more explicit at ~10:45.

I, too, first thought that JA had deleted some but not all of that day's photos, which I found unbelievable considering the circumstances.
It seems the prosecutor could have asked the question much more simply to get a yes/no answer.

I, personally, think the pictures are interesting in that the first sitting down picture in the shower the water is running and the door is closed. The very next picture the water could be running, can't tell but who sits with door open and water running? If the water is off it appears it was not TA who turned it off because his arms are on his knees. At this point JA had him where she wanted him. Whether she shot him or stabbed him first he was in an awkward position if he tried to stand up. She would have caught him off guard. I just find it strange that if the water were still running why would he be sitting there with the door open, arms in front of him, resting on his knees. jmo
I think that mayhave been the first 'accidental' photo while she was reaching for the knife/gun.

Shower water in az in June is at least tepid all day long and well into the night. There's no such thing as a cold shower in June. I can't even get cold water to wash soap down the drain after washing the dishes. I have to get it from the fridge door!

Those photos taken of TA weren't done for the purpose of creating 'good' pictures. Those are snapshots taken as a ruse. Thus we see photos that are not framed well, we see photos that have the wrong exposure, we see photos that look like a monkey could have picked up a camera and started taking pictures.
Jodi's intent was to distract Travis so that she could then begin her attack. The camera and the picture taking was her tool for the distraction.

I do not think that happened, problem is we do not have originals, for the most part we are using screen captures from the court room which really does not get US THE FULL PICTURE especially when they have been cropped etc but for the record I do not see those two adding up MOO
Could you link the pic please? The photos in the photobucket acct. are not loading for me at the moment. And if you have a link to the pet feeders, that too please!
