Yareli Barajas - doesn't list braces but has scar on right hand and missing from Phoenix
https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/16970/70/[/B]

Scars on hand are interesting. She could resemble the sketch as well (the eyes):

One reason that has me skeptical that this could be related to Tia is the stark difference in the manner of body disposal. Tia being buried makes me think that it was someone she knew or someone with a conscious (remorse?). Whoever killed this poor girl wanted her to be found and wanted to make a statement, IMO.

Tonto,
Just FYI... Tia was not buried, she was"tossed" out in the open just like this poor girl. Makes me so angry... on BOTH counts! :stormingmad:

A few possibilities / thinking out loud:

1. Jane Doe hasn't been reported missing yet
2. She is listed as a runaway so there's not much of an active presence looking for her
3. we haven't made a match yet to any missing persons.
4. She is from Mexico or another non-US area
5. She won't be reported missing bc someone close to her is responsible

I have added lots of tags to help with search results for anyone out there searching for a missing loved one...if anyone has any other ideas for tags I should add, pls let me know. Thanks.

I hope Namus adds the photos of her jewelry.

Anyone familiar with Native american Reservations in the area?

Margarita25,
I am from the Yavapai Apache Nation, as far as I know we do not have anyone missing from here, but I will see if I can find out about other tribes.

Maybe the six missing teeth?

I believe this teen was identified as Tawni Mazzone. We have a forum on her here.

Wow!! Thank you Harmony!

From the above article:
"The aunt, whose first name is Tammy, then spoke on the phone with another websleuther whose screen name is Believe09 (a homemaker from Massachusetts), who had become obsessed with putting a name to 99-305..."

You guys have to read this article mentioning WS!!

I hope one of us will follow in believe09's footsteps and help give this girl her name back. No one should have to die like this, but no one most definitely should not have to die like this and be alone.

I just got this on my facebook feed. One of my Facebook friends re-posted it, and it ended up on my feed. The man who originated the post says that this is his 16-year old sister, but unfortunately, he did not indicate her name. He says that she was last seen on 17-Oct-2012, and he said she might be "in California, Arizona, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, Louisianna, North Carolina or Idaho (Nampa maybe Boise)"

(BBM)

I noticed the braces on her teeth, and the comment that she was possibly in Arizona. She doesn't appear Hispanic or NtvAm though.

There is nobody listed in NamUs as missing in October 2012 who looks like this girl.

Wildheart, glad to see you here on this thread.

Let's hope this girl gets her name back ASAP.

Also, I looked at the picture of her braces on the NAMUS site. Are the teeth she's missing in the back of her mouth? Because I couldn't see any missing teeth in the picture.

Thank you ktgirl! Margarita25, I spoke with a few Tribal LE agencies but came up with nothing, however, I was informed that detectives on her case are reaching out to all Tribal agencies, so if she is native, they should hopefully have something soon!! :please:
