Fingers crossed, I am placing this in the proper thread (I hate to be chastised...almost as much as I hate to be wrong. Ha!)

Seriously though, I apologize if this is misplaced. I'm new to delving into this case - glanced at the Pak thread months ago and did a cursory review of the details - but here's my question...

Shannan's mother MG claimed to receive a call from CPH on the 2nd of May...right? And there was much debate whether that was verifiable, as she hadn't posted any records or anything to verify it?...

then the updated 48 hours which I watched yesterday stated something about verification of the calls made by CPH...but my question is...

Has it been verified that he did, in fact,call prior to AD and MP arriving at his home (allegedly) to ask about Shannan? Was it only verified that he did, in fact, place these calls - from his wife's cell phone, per 48 hours - at dates different than he alleged?

I'm sorry for dipping into the minutiae but I really am curious as to the date of the FIRST call. I am interested to know if it's feasible (not likely, not written in stone, but feasible) that CPH did, in fact, only call MG after being encouraged/enticed/asked/etc to, by either Diaz or Pak.

Thanks so much everyone for your help. You guys do great work in this corner of the forum, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my views...after I read through all the threads. (Well...most of them, at least.)

Very good question!!!! I've been asking this all along. I don't have the answers but I've often wondered if CHP was asked to call SG mother. How did he get her phone number? And how did he know if SG was a regular drug user?
 
The NCPD found a dead male body in a Wantagh Preserve area yesterday. I guess we will have to wait until the ID is made to see if it was the missing Robert Mayer.

If all assertions are correct and necessary documents and 911 tapes/reports are not available bc they are truly "lost" (rather than under some sort of revue) then this could possibly point us to the higher echelon in the state/govt being an accomplice of sorts IMO.

Dr Hodel (possibly the zodiak killer as well as black dahlia's murderer) got away with molesting his daughter (an incest case) by paying off the DA at the Time. He also murdered the black dahlia bc she was trying to blackmail the head publisher of the LA Times with a pregnancy after working for him as an escort.

Dr. Hodel's mother in law "mysteriously" died the day he was acquitted of the incest charges (he was known to dose people via needle). His defense lawyer was the same defense lawyer as Marilyn Monroe.

The day Marilyn died (new years) is the exact same day her defense lawyer (she shared with Bugsy and Hodel) died as well. And well, Marilyn was busy getting dosed up (IV) with drugs by a mysterious private male doctor not long before she passed.

(btw Hodel had ES body parts transported in a burlap sack before having her body parts placed on the sidewalk/grass)

You're right, he was a suspect. But as far as I know he was never questioned by LE about the Zodiac murders. I believe the Zodiac's identity falls into one of two categories. It was either Arthur Leigh Allen or it was someone who the cops never got close to. Richard Gaikowski was on my radar for awhile as the guy, but I've since moved on. I really don't care what the DNA profile from the envelope tested within the last several years revealed (it was a partial profile anyways), as it could be flawed. There's TONS of circumstantial evidence saying ALA could very well have been the killer. Just my two cents.

Not to completely change subjects, but the Zodiac case had an interesting twist that I've often wondered if the LISK investigation also shared. After Paul Stine was shot in his cab on the corner of Cherry and Washington in San Francisco some kids whom had witnessed the murder from across the street called it in to the SFPD. The dispatcher initially radioed to officers that it was a black male, which was incorrect. They fixed the error about 5 minutes later. In the meantime two officers speeding towards the crime scene passed a man about a block away that fit the description of the Zodiac. Stocky build, white, with glasses and a crew cut. They never even slowed down the car. Makes you wonder how close LE has really gotten to the LISK, even if they didn't realize it when it was happening.
 
I honestly believe this Eldred Ray Burchell is LISK. I pulled a background check info on him and posted appropriate public info on the News articles of possible relation to the LISK case thread. He was born in Washington state, same state the Green River Killer committed his atrocities.

This is just touching the surface of his transient addresses and criminal cases filed in multiple states. He calls himself "The River Man". He looks up to the green river killer. I think he killed Tina hoang, an escort working out here in Newport, and left her body face down by lifeguard tower 71 with 3 white candles by her. I think he put Tina next to 71 to signify the number of victims the green river killer is believed to have killed.

This Burchell gives me the creeps.

He alerted the Coast Guard in Montauk, New York, but his wife’s body was pulled out of the water 12 hours later."

This guy has a place in Manhattan. (all those calls made from Manhattan area to the victims relatives...)

He is the heir to an electric company.


His construction business is located in Palisades Park NJ.

His best childhood friend is the CFO and manager of the construction biz. It was this business partners boat that the victim was thrown from.


I hate money and evil!
 
I don't like the idea of a sea vessel being used as a means for isolation from public/witnesses when a murder takes place...

They NEED to secure that boat and search it thoroughly. I'm talking fine toothed comb!

Sounds like you're jealous of money. I don't get how a guy who is cleared from the AC murders is not allowed to be spoken about but you are allowed to throw murder accusations at a guy who just lost his wife.
I'm an avid boater...I'm isolated from land. Nobody's every been murdered on my boat. You from Long Island?
