I have been a member of WS for years and I've never seen anything like this...ever. There is very little that we can post about without comments being deleted. I've never been in a forum like this and I have no idea how to sleuth about a case when 99% of the little bit that we do know, can't be posted.

It was more of a statement if there is a person of interest. They searched the water very intensive so I assume a boat might have been used. Might narrow it down.

Oh I know what you mean but there are sooooo many people here that have boats.

Locals...what is "the inlet"?

HE refers to it June 22nd & 30th on her twitter.

Murrells Inlet, SC A small town just south of MB. Lots of restaurants (seafood) bars, etc. The water called the "inlet" leads into the Atlantic ocean. Known as a "a quaint little fishing village with a drinking problem"

New interview published today. Gives at least a little new information. HE had only been living with BW for less than 2 weeks. She moved in on Dec 4 or 5. Also, HE's father cannot discuss the 3:41 am call due to the ongoing investigation. Interesting.

It seems so freaking odd to me that both NG & this article specifically fail to mention TK. They mention she worked at HOB & "another pub" but do not mention the name of the pub. IDK... to me... That just seems sketch.

So it's the kind of place somebody might go out to for a birthday dinner or something like that?

Does South Carolina require boats to be registered as well? My boat had to be, but I live in a different state.

Haven't read the recents... but a post under others on the FHE FB page made me just call BB thanks to a dot connected between that and on here.

From the MIT Tech Review - April 2012
If You Have a Smart Phone, Anyone Can Now Track Your Every Move

(Snip)

The rollout of this technology means there are now at least three ways that users can track their locations indoors, where GPS is generally useless – bluetooth beacon, Spotrank (and proprietary vendor) databases of Wi-Fi hotspots, and Navizon’s I.T.S. nodes. It also marks the second way (that I know of) for you to be tracked via the location of your phone, whether you want to be or not. (The first requires access to your cell phone carrier, and is used for example to locate your position when you make a 911 call.)

It shouldn’t be surprising that carrying around a little RF transmitter in your pocket makes you visible to all sorts of tracking technology. Maybe it’s simply the (inevitable) commercialization of this fact that is somehow unnerving.

MAC Address (every device now has one).....
ETA:
(Snip)
Every device that connects to an IEEE 802 network (such as Ethernet and WiFi) has a MAC-48 address.
Common consumer devices to use MAC-48 include every PC, iPhone, iPad, and Android-based devices.

ShareTheLight, it was me, and I misunderstood the OP, CarolinaAsh's post about texts as opposed to Social Media.

ETA: I am on Tapatalk so I apologize, I haven't figured out how to multiple quote

I still feel this is important to the case & for all smartphone users to know. Hopefully LE is utilizing this technology in their investigation. It could be crucial to the case :moo:

****ETA: (gray box quote documenting MAC address in common use today)****

That is what I was saying. But the person I was responding to said that on her own bill it came up with a time that was for the opposite person's time zone. Even when they were visiting her. So if it is the same with HE's carrier and showed on her bill as 3:41 then it could have been later here. Won't know until we know if the number is local. Or even a text, because moo is it was a call based on wording by LE.

It doesn't have to do with where it was purchased. Has to do with numbers.

But we were talking about text. Not SM

My apologies CarolinaAsh, I misunderstood with the closing of the last thread this morning.

The time stamps should still adjust based on the user location. If I recall correctly in the Travis Alexander case, the Forensic IT specialists were able to identify ja by the metadata in the photos she took of herself with her changing hair color (blond to brunette and back again, I can't remember the exact order). When he was on the stand, he stated the device was able to sync based on location services. So, the basic concept is the same. The MAC address allowed them to verify the image was ja & where she took the photo, & the time was adjusted to California time.

Back to your OP, you are correct, cell phone bills would be adjusted to your area code.

Again, I hope this makes sense & I'm sorry for the confusion :blushing:

as I read her twitter I have seen she had stomach problems, could she of been seeing different doc's for that ailment? Causing tests etc and all the medical bills?

Britnee Drexel case on NG......just said she was VERY SAD...miserable with her roomates that were older. Cell signal stopped in Georgetown! and CRYSTAL case also. Waiting to see if this segment now ties into Heather!
