Midnight Oil?

Only the Aussies will understand...

Not only the Aussies (love those guys). :flashback:

Just catching up on the overnight (in my time zone) session.

Sam went to Dubai with Quinton van der Burgh, a millionaire television producer. When OP returned from London he allegedly threatened to break his legs.

Yes, and didn't we just hear from OP's walking billboard the other day that OP had taken someone else to London with him?

Certain individuals believe that the pornographic material that was accessed on Oscar Pistorius's iPad on 13 February 2013 at 18:29 could possibly be some unsolicited spam or pop-up.

It was NOT… It was clearly a series of 3 deliberate actions

1 – Oscar Pistorius typed ‘youj!zz’ in Google search engine.

2 – Oscar Pistorius selected the free pornographic video web site for mobile devices ‘m.youj!zz.com'

3 – Oscar Pistorius selected the video ‘...videos/5/1/1/6/’ which started playing on the iPad immediately after selecting it.

Although this was not put into Court record during Colonel Michael Sales testimony, it was put into evidence.

A photograph of the screen which was displaying the web history downloaded from that iPad made its way to the Internet.

Word of the day: STARTLE

Listening to Prof D's testimony was brutal. During cross I was almost embarrassed for him, thankful his face couldn't be seen. Does anyone else think even m'lady was a bit lost near the end of Del's questioning of the witness. Looking forward to Monday's wrap-up.

Oh my. I suspect the website will enjoy a surge. :floorlaugh:

Are we quite sure that Nel will wrap-up Wayne Derman's cross-examination and Oldwage the re-examination, all on Monday ??

Do we believe the Defence has further witnesses… or was Wayne Derman the last one ?

The tweet was read out in court yesterday. What was actually said was never in dispute until OP came to court though. When it was originally reported about the roommate incident, Arnu Fourie said he couldn't remember saying it so phoned up Mr O'Sullivan who confirmed what he said and told him that he'd recorded it and Arnu Fourie was happy to accept that. Now it's got to court Arnu Fourie asked Mr O'Sullivan to play the recording but unfortunately Mr O'Sullivan can't prove it now as he got mugged and the recording was stolen.
Mr. O'Sullivan, I have 3 words for you: External backup drive.

Lost? Umm imo probably just as frustrated as Nel was getting by having the Prof obfuscate for the umpteenth time on something he was claiming to be an expert on but for some reason(imo bias) is incapable of applying a hypothetical situation to. Yet by detailing every possible physiological response to this "startle" or "fright" for the defense, he had been doing just that in an obvious backdoor attempt to make the court believe that OP had been a victim to all of it, with no proof which he eventually admitted to Nel. Now Nel needs to make sure the court caught that.

Could be wrong but I think I read upthread that Dr. D was last witness. IMO, the defense had high hopes for his testimony.

I'd forgotten about the *advertiser censored* and at the time wondered why it wasn't made a bigger deal of by Nel but there had to be either some kind of agreement between the DT or the judge and Nel. Any other criminal case the world over it would have been pounced on by attorneys to try and show some kind of deviant behaviour. Perhaps they couldn't prove it was OP and the DT could have said they'd imply it was Reeva if Nel tried making it an issue or maybe it was out of respect for June Steenkamp who was in court to see what were her daughter's last words on this planet? :(

Not sure who posted this, but it's not the first time I've watched either OP or one of the DT make similiar actions, I guess they still don't realize just how much a camera can catch. Although to be fair, Nel tends to nod yes or shake his head no in a not very subtle way when he's asking questions. The only difference is that Nel does it for everyone.

Hello Val.
I posted it and then deleted it because I thought I'd used a link that might identify me. (computer illiterate)
Was looking for the Twitter link where I first saw it but can't find it now.

I've seen both Nel and Roux nod or shake their heads when waiting for answers, but something about the sneaky way OP does it while very intently staring at witness (forgot his name) doesn't sit right.

Yes, but that was before Dixon and Wolmarans proved the mag rack never moved and the locked door wouldn't have made a sound.

No one proved the magazine rack didnt move before Oscar shot Reeva. So the third sound that he thought was the door opening could have been the magazine rack moving while Reeva was in the toilet.

Wow, good research .. I was wondering what site OP had accessed because when I listened to the testimony, Roux said 'we'll come back to that' and he never did (from what I recall, or could find).

Yes, but he's had a whole lifetime to man up and deal with it.

I think the point is that he has a disability, despite acting like he doesnt and not wanting to be thought of as disabled.

I've just googled it myself :blushing: .. and it has 'teen' *advertiser censored* on there .. (I'm not clicking any further on it :scared: )

This is an apology for several things, but nor for murder. That's also truth. IMO

It's not an apology for murder, I agree. I think the thrust of the doctor's testimony about disability was to explain how Oscar's vulnerability makes it more likely that he really believed there was an intruder coming after him. The first hurdle for the defense is getting the judge to accept that it's reasonably possibly true that Oscar believed there was an intruder.
