Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Wilson said they do not expect foul play, another girl was also sleeping in the room with Jenise, and she was fine.

Two other chidlren in the home, an 8-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, were removed from the home by Child Protective Services, Kitsap County deputies said, as they felt conditions in the home jeopardized the safety of the children.

Bolded in red by me.... No foul play?? What the what?? Then where in the hello is this child????

Some neighbors told police they saw Jenise Wright walking in neighborhood Sunday morning. Last seen Sat. night by fam pic.twitter.com/Vlk4uA7lkM

If this is true, I can see why they are focusing on public still. I am thinking the parents are just neglectful/ too trusting, but innocent.

I wonder if those are credible sightings. If so, I think she was abducted by a neighbor. jmo

Is there any wildlife in the area that could have attacked her? Are dogs allowed to run free in the park? I'm really grasping at straws now. What is the weather like? Is heat or dehydration a concern?

I think if there was an animal attack, dogs would have hit. Earlier today observing pictures still being taken outside. 65-80 degrees in Bremerton. I don't think she is any where near, per searches.

Do people in the park own their homes or are they rented out by the park owner? I'm wondering if there is any issue with gaining entry to vacant homes.

Wildlife in this area is not grasping at straws. I used to hate it when I would show up at work and see the dreaded Cougars spotted in the area signs posted. Oh the visions I would have of my key card not working and being pounced on and dragged off....

It's been in the 80's lately.

Looking at this overview of the park (what an adorable little neighborhood by the way) I could see how a parent could get lulled into a false sense of security.

One of the articles said that the neighborhood is completely fenced all the way around. There is only one opening that serves as both the entry and exit that I marked with a big red X. The streets are only going to other homes within the community.

The other attachment that I have included here is if you zoom way out, look at all of the wooded area that is right beside the mobile home park! I wonder if it is being searched or if they need help searching that - what a huge task that would be!

Now I see your map I can understand how the parents may have allowed her to play in the neighborhood all day. It would seem just like a gated community with neighbors to watch out if anything bad happened (fell over and hurt herself for ex.) I wouldn't do it but I can definitely imagine how some parents would

Today, the effort has grown. There are 112 people from 10 law enforcement agencies working the case. FBI specialists from across the country, including a child abduction rapid deployment team, joined their Seattle office agents who were on site Monday, said Kitsap County Sheriff's Office spokesman Scott Wilson. They're joined by the Missing and Exploited Children's Task Force, and detectives from Kitsap and Pierce counties, the State Patrol and Bremerton Police Department.Support agencies include Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue, Kitsap Department of Emergency Management and several volunteer ground search teams. Helicopters from the Homeland Security Department and Pierce County are also available.
Today, investigators are interviewing all registered sex offenders in the vicinity, Wilson said. They're re-interviewing residents of the mobile home community, conducting consent searches of homes and when necessary obtaining warrants. Evidence is being sent taken to the State Patrol crime lab to be analyzed. Wilson couldn't divulge what has been discovered so far.

I'm recalling a case that happened about 20yrs ago in Minneapolis, where I lived at the time. A girl about J's age was shopping with her parents and needed to use the bathroom. The bathroom was in the basement of the store, and she went there alone while her parents continued shopping upstairs. They never saw her alive again. When she went into the basement, a worker hit her over the head with a rubber mallet (I've been scared of rubber mallets ever since) and took her to his home where he killed her. By the time the cops really started an investigation, the child was already dead, though she wasn't found for a couple of days (IRRC).

The parents weren't picture-perfect, though completely innocent. The father was not articulate in front of the cameras and was a bit odd, and people were (incorrectly) suspicious because of that.

The scenario was so bizarre because there is no way the employee had any idea that a young girl would venture into the basement on her own. But, the creep took advantage of the opportunity when it was in front of him. It happened fast. I just have a feeling, perhaps, that is what happened in this case....someone took advantage of J being out and about on her own. Perhaps someone watched her or perhaps it was simple a spur-of-the-moment opportunity.

I'm not yet willing to blame the family, though I accept that is a possibility.

Does anyone know if the neighborhood children play down by the creek in the woods? I know that when I was a kid, we always played in the woods around the creek. I wonder how deep and wide it is. Has there been a lot of rainfall lately? There also appears to be a drainage pond on the community property. I wonder how much water is in it and if it was searched. There appears to be a fence around it, but I'll bet it doesn't work as much of a deterent.

I got it wrong that the child was killed right away. She was whisked away right away but held captive before being killed. Here's an article about it. http://news.google.com/newspapers?n...kwcAAAAIBAJ&sjid=5X4EAAAAIBAJ&pg=6868,3481189

There is something about J's case that reminds me of this old one, whether it's the father who doesn't present himself well to the public or the opportunistic aspect of the crime. I don't mean to go OT, but this old case keeps popping in my mind.

It looks like today might be garbage day, but I would be really surprised if LE lets Waste Management in to pick up.

Glad there will be a press briefing at 4:30. Do they let the public attend? If so, I will try to go.

As of about 30 mins ago, I did see a search group with dog forming up across the street where there is a clearing and cut trees (just slightly to the south of the park and on the opposite side of the road (west side).

PS. The creeper camper is still parked at Walmart.

In the Liknes case in Canada, police had informed the company picking up the garbage to take it to a separate part of the landfill. Then, the police actually went through it at the landfill. It was interesting.
