I figured the FL lead would have been a dead end. I don't think this will be a situation when her body is going to be found by a jogger, or a hiker uncovers her shallow grave.
I suspect strongly she ended up in water, perhaps something with a strong current or simply somewhere vast like the ocean.
Alternatively, she could have very well been dismembered. But, most people, even stupid ones, tend to see the problem with leaving several clues hidden. With that said, I'll go with water as the most likely spot.
The Moorers were not very cunning when it came to hiding their fraud, but when life in prison is a possibility for your actions, many people will start getting creative.
The case is vaguely similar to the Marriott case in NH. Boyfriend and girlfriend kill another girl, no body ever recovered, yet a conviction results from strong circumstantial evidence... and the fact that the girlfriend finally broke down and started to talk.
That may or may not happen here, but I think the rest will play out the same.
