Sadly, I suspect this is one of those cases where the person who would have reported her missing is the one who caused her death. :(

I know she would be a little older than is thought, but its not totally out of range. She would also have to have been out there for two years.

However, her vital stats match well and I like her face - close set eyes, nose narrow at the bridge, possible overbite.

Found this girl on Charley. When I zoomed in on her picture using my phone, I could definitely see she has the same eye thing (one eye appearing to be higher up on the face than the other due to having an asymmetrical skull) going on as Smurfette. Her other facial features being narrow nose and close set eyes are right on, too. She also was said to have red highlights in her hair at the time of her disappearance. She is also said to be white, but who knows? She could be a small part black, too. The metropolitan area where she disappeared from, Detroit, does have the highest black population in the country. I myself am an admixture of black and white, but I'm only either a fourth or an eighth black from my bio mother and growing up my family had always put down my race as just being white on medical forms and other stuff. The only thing throwing me off about Alexis possibly being Smurfette is height, though she is pretty lightweight for someone being 5'6" and sometimes children do lie about their height.
 
A little bit of happy news: Jamie Lee, one of the girls who's been on the rule-out list for almost two years now, has been found safe. I can't find the article I read it on, but both her NamUs and NCMEC profiles are gone. Glad she's alive and well!
 
Sabrina Allen has also been found alive as well as the Al-Nahardy sisters and one out of a pair of another sisters who we all considered as a possible match. I know a lot of the people I mentioned were girls who didn't have DNA into the system and was probably going to hard to get. I hope Smurfette is someone who has been reported missing as it would get easier to narrow down who she is from here while more girls considered to be a possible matches resurface.

Darling Smurfette, I couldn't let today go by without posting on your thread. I can't believe that it has been two whole years since you were found and I can't believe that you still haven't been identified.

Its just all so unfair, your life was really only just beginning when you died. You deserved to live on. You deserved fun, happiness and success. I look at my own teenagers and their friends and I think of the things that you should be doing. You should be enjoying some of the most carefree years of your life, studying, partying, dating, posting daft selfies on Facebook and all of the other things that your peers are doing.

Instead, you got a bin bag at the side of the road, followed by a grave which doesn't even have your name on it. Please know Angel that we won't let this be it. We will keep going until we find out your name. You are loved and you will never be forgotten.
 
I said it on the first anniversary and I'll say it again: We will never stop looking for Smurfette. She's the one who got me into this stuff and I would love to know who she is.I don't post as much on this thread as I did before, but I search NamUs and other databases on a weekly basis looking for her.

This is an alphabetical list of a section of suggestions where I left off last Dec 2013 that I started in Aug 2014. Some of these missing girls have been found since and is not reflected. I'm mostly seeing if I have finally figured out how to do this with the new forum software. The links didn't come back as clickable but I cut, then re-inserted them and that seems to work well. The upgrade limits me to length so 300 can't go in a single post. I hope to have some time I can dedicate to Smurfette over the holiday break and review to be sure we haven't overlooked any possibilities. I haven't forgotten! And will never forget Smurfette.

Bump. I don't want Diana to get lost in between my posts.
I don't see her mentioned in this thread before, but I would have sworn we had discussed her but don't find that we have.
She has DNA on file with NamUs so should be an automatic submission/ruleout.
