Stephanie Vaczy, 35, is one of two missing women on the North Shore. She called her family from a hospital in Haverhill at 10 a.m., according to her aunt Jodi Hill. Hill says Vaczy was missing for close to two weeks.
Her aunt said she does not remember anything about the past few days and said she couldn't remember if she had any contact with the other missing woman, 25-year-old Jaimee Mendez of Swampscott. The search continues for Mendez.

On Tuesday, investigators focused on a Spring Street home in Lynn, which the state Sex Offender Registry Board lists as an address of 29-year-old Jason James Fleury, a Level 3 sex offender. Investigators towed a van from the house to the Swampscott Police Station. This is the second van they have taken; officers took another van of his over the weekend.
Officials have not named Fleury as a suspect, but Mendez's says she was with him when they last heard from her.

Very strange. This woman who is known to hang with both Jaimee and the RSO, goes missing at the same time. Ends up in a hospital, and cannot remember anything? Thoughts?

Yeah , lots of them..
There is a search today of Lynn Woods. Fortunately there are numerous specific maps online-the woods are very well documented. There is a ranger contact on the webpage and I hope the Mendez family has had a chance to speak with him. I would bet there is a high likeliehood that he would have some good ideas on where someone might hide evidence or leave someone if she is there.

Heartbroken mom fears worst for her daughter

“I just want my kid’s body found — I know she’s dead,” a heartbroken Michelle Mendez told the Herald last night. Her daughter, Jaimee Mendez, has been missing since Thursday night.“She’s diabetic. She wouldn’t be gone one day from her son. She can’t go a day without insulin,” her mother said.
State police detectives assigned to the Essex District Attorney’s Office and officers of the Swampscott, Salem and Lynn police departments continued to scour the North Shore for Mendez late into the night last night. “Law enforcement officials are using NEMLEC canine units, MSP Airwing and other assets to search for Ms. Mendez in various locations in Salem, Lynn and Swampscott,” Essex DA’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Kimball Monahan said in a statement.

I am trying to get a sense from the maps of the Woods where the access points are and if there is required check in. If so, then there may be surveillance cameras and a record from the last almost week.
Agreed-the mechanics of disposing of anything that is heavy is something to think about here though. He has to navigate terrain unless there are vehicle paths. If he was there at night, he needed some kind of illumination. I think that if he had no real fixed residence, then the focus on the van is helpful on many levels. Someone would notice a van in a single spot for a period of time, unless it was an area that commonly had random vehicles. Keeping her in the van in a populated area is pretty risky imo, kwim? So where could he go and spend sometime in his van that wouldnt draw too much attention? I think the possible change to the interior of the van is important-I dont know that he thought through what would happen after she was reported and I think dumping her stuff everywhere was done in panic.
